I'm gonna get loosey goosey house vibes for a second with this chiller of a tune from the mysterious producer Lipless. We don't know much about this dude except that he got a grammy...yes a grammy nomination with none other than Kaskade. "Sticks & Stones" just burrows forward with ease as Gabrielle Current's flowery vocals should toss you up into a bed of clouds. Not much else to say other than let this music flow around you like a waterfall deep in the jungle. Add this sexy tune to your favorite Spotify playlist here.
2017 is the year for duo TastyTreat, and this remix of The Griswolds is just the tip of the iceberg. Recently signing with the same management that represents Borgore and Getter, their thirst to take over world is very much underway. The Griswolds are one of the most underrated vocalist out of Australia, and TastyTreat transform "Out Of My Head" into a dreamy future bass ride. Splicing all the vocals perfectly, mixed with some seductive synth work, this one is sure to be stuck in your head for months to come. Click here to download the remix on iTunes.
I’ll be honest, when I first heard this massive collab between two very much established artists I wasn’t immediately sold on it. The Chainsmokers have hooked the general public on simple chill future bass pop and it seems that a lot of other artists are trying to get in on this trend. Part of me wants to shame Zedd for following in this direction. I’ve been a fan of his since before “Clarity” and my first thought was that this was a “safe” song. But after coming back to it after a few listens, the catchy songwriting began to grow on me, and I like what he did keeping the production fairly minimal in parts. He’s still a really cool guy in my book, especially for throwing this upcoming fundraising concert for the ACLU at the STAPLES Center on April 3rd with quite the lineup of other socially conscious mainstream artists.
Mahalo's done it again! Our Hawaiian brethren is back with another amazing track with singer Cat Lewis. "WTFYWF" accurately abbreviated haha is a dope track that rides the line between deep and future house in a way that's all his own. Liquid House is the way Mahalo's chosen to describe his sound and we think he's hit the nail on the head. Bump this tune night or day and it fits perfectly. Wow I gotta take a second to show some love to this new Absofacto tune "Light Outside". Michigan born Jonathan Visger recently did a killer tune with the Knocks called "Trouble" that was a pretty dope spin, and I'm REALLY in love with this new one. The chorus hits with the line "I Leave a Light Outside" and I'm sold. This one is easy to rock out to and is a perfect soundtrack to start off your Friday night. "I don't always post bass, but when I do I prefer LOUDPVCK" - the most interesting man in the world. Well there you have it folks if the most interesting man digs it then I think you will too. But in all seriousness sometimes you just need to double down on that extra db of sub and Botnek and LOUDPVCK have both dug a deep hole, laid concrete and bunkered down in the bass hall of fame. Their new single "Traffic" is full of grimy goodness that's ready to get you hype for the weekend. Like all LOUDPVCK tunes you can expect it to come with a smirk, and this one features several vocal samples and extra add-ons that keep you saying where the fvck is this track is going to go. I thought this track was extra unique and decided to share so hope you like it too. You can nab this across the digital audio spectrum here. LA you can also catch LOUDPVCK coming up next Saturday 3/4 at Exchange LA - get tickets here.

Iowa City's Kyle Stern better known creatively as Attom has been crushing it the last couple years with awesome tunes like originals "Cruise" and the amazing "Afterglow" that shot up the hypem charts. Today he sent over his remix of Steve Aoki's smash hit "Just Hold On" and I thought it was the perfect ethereal soundscape to bring us out of winter and ease us into spring. He layers on elements of tropical xylophones, chimes and warm pads all equating to a musical deep breath of fresh air. I'm sure there's much more for us coming soon from this camp until then we can enjoy this fresh take on the original. You can also get this on your favorite digital musical retailer here.
