Whenever I hear there is a new Bag Raiders remix dropped into the world, I find my headphones as quickly as possible because I know it’s going to be pure fire! Our Aussie friends are starting to show their face from a year long absence in the US … I don’t know about you guys but I have been jonesing for a Bag Raiders dance party for months now! Remember last time we brought them to SF on the boat party? Yea …. that was fun! This fantastic little label is not only churning out major dance tracks, but it’s creating a whole movement of deep house feel good vibes that the world is embracing. Yung German producer and Anjunadeep rising star Ben Böhmer just dropped this dreamy remix of “Hold On” by labelmate Lane 8, and I’m swooning! With smooth ethereal melodies and light bouncy deep house beats, this track will take you on a magical journey on the dance floor. Lane 8 will be dropping his Little Bu Little remix album on OCT 04, so this is just a taste of what’s to come!

Happy Friday y’all! Your girl has been slammed at work; the club has been raging all fall and it’s demanding all of my attention. I have put aside a few minutes today however to post some new jams, and this on is all the feels! These boys are no strangers to our pages, we’ve be hangin with Louis Futon and Medasin for a minute - and here they are coming together on this tasty flip of “Wake Up” by Travis Scott. So much juice … with funky R&B vibes and funky rhythms it … I’m swooning! Add this one to your weekend playlist kids!

FRND - BEFORE U I DIDN’T EXIST (CHARLOTTE THE MANNEQUIN REMIX)

Only in 2018 can a mannequin have 20K Twitter followers and remix a future pop song into a dance floor rave-ready beat. Yes this is a blog post about a FRND remix done by a mannequin (“Charlotte” from the world of creepy YouTube phenomenon Poppy). Only in the age of Gen Z is it acceptable for computer-generated voice to be incorporated into music. I’m not talking about Styx singing about Mr. Roboto or Soulwax using a MicroKORG, Charlotte is all computer. Or is Poppy speaking for her through a computer? The mystery of the internet, my friends. All things considered, this remix does what most great remixes generally do: twists the original track on its head in a unique and refreshing way that makes you want to dance. Nice job, Charlotte. Not half bad for a mannequin.

MOON BOOTS - RED SKY (FORT ROMEAU REMIX)

The Moon Boots First Landing remixes dropped today via Anjunadeep, and honestly they're all so delicious I could post the lot!  However, this version of "Red Sky" remixed by Fort Romeau is just too cha cha for words! This young British producer is no stranger to our pages - we've been swooning over him for years, and we love love love the deep dark dance vibes coming from his elegant remix. ROBERT DELONG FT. K.FLAY - FAVORITE COLOR IS BLUE (CRVE U REMIX)

You’d never guess that NYC-based producer Jared Rapoza, better known as CRVE U, was a recent high school graduate starting college classes this fall. Weighing in at 17 years old, the youthful artist tends to a craft that is far from novice. His latest single is a remix of the animated Robert Delong’s “Favorite Color Is Blue” featuring K.Flay. CRVE U gives the electro-pop single an industrial treatment, brushing it with mechanized shades of chrome. Elements of grit blend like a yin and yang with graceful undertones. While maintaining a deep sense of respect for the original framework, this flip takes “Favorite Color Is Blue” to a new dimension. Tune in.

TIM ATLAS - COMPROMISED (CHRISTOFI REMIX)

We love a good remix over here at Beautiful Buzzz. Other music blogs can sometimes be picky about their selections and refuse to post remixes, but we just love it when a producer reimagines a classic track and infuses some new flavor. It’s especially great when they’re able to preserve the essence of what made the original awesome while simultaneously introducing a whole new aesthetic. This latest reimagining comes from two artists who are no stranger to BB: indie soul crooner Tim Atlas and electronic producer Christofi. Both pals from California, Atlas decided to enlist Christofi to deliver his own dance-oriented take on “Compromised” — Atlas’ most popular original to date which has racked up over 13M streams on Spotify. The remix adds lush chords, toe-tapping percussion, and a bright synth lead that readies this track for any dance floor or festival stage. You’ll definitely want to add this one to your party playlists and blast it at your next pregame (or 3am afterparty to annoy the hell out of your roommates if you live in a house like mine).
