I’ve been known to get personal on my blog posts from time to time - but I figure hey now, it’s my blog, I can do what I want. I feel that now, during these very strange times, it’s never been more appropriate to let your loves ones know you love’em. Le Youth (and Brianna) is truly my family and such an amazing friend in my life, and I am so lucky to have such a brilliant human around. We don’t get to see each other much because we’re in different cities and he’s always running around the world playing sweet jams so all y’all can have a dance party, but I 100% know he will always have my back and vice versa. Over the years he’s shown me unbelievable kindness and friendship, and we’ve had some crazy laughs and adventures along the way that are pretty hilarious. Le Youth, I love you brother! We all need vibes these days …. I’ve been tucked away from all forms of outside life for a minute. You see, I have terrible asthma so if I catch COVID I will definitely struggle. As I am sheltering at my parents house in northern CA, I am thankful for 2 things, one is my Mom’s cooking and the other is music! Currently I am watching my Mom dance like no one is watching to this new Jody Wisternoff track “Story of Light” and the smile and laughter it’s bringing to my life right now is something I will never forget.
