ATYYA - ODYSSEY

Music, Original MixAlli LindseyComment

Tyy Clark, best known as ATYYA, is more of an experience than a musician. Although he bends sounds and hacks musical algorithms by trade, ATYYA does far more than release music. Instead, he crafts mystical worlds of moving rhythms guided by an electronic pulse that shift the worlds around us. His latest album Odyssey is a tapestry of spiritual frequencies that vibrate on higher planes than the one know to be true. This entrancing LP is made up of 8 breathtaking tracks fused together to create a blissful outline of calming, metaphysical sounds. Tethered to grounding drum-work, exotic melodies, and transcendent crescendos, Odyssey was made to lose yourself in.

EDDIE & BAD DISK - ELECTRO FOREVER

Music, Original MixSara NatkinsComment

Fusing classic electro house with funky disco flare, EDDIE & Bad Disk deliver a collaboration for the ages with their "Electro Forever." Aptly named, the track celebrates the resurgence of the quintessential era of blog-haus, championed by No Mana and his many enlisted Electromag artists. Combining sultry four-on-the-floor electro grooves with layered disco elements, "Electro Forever" is atmospheric in nature with a hard-hitting edge. Speaking on his collaboration with Bad Disk, EDDIE says the following: "This is a rare form of electro house from myself specifically…we decided to go for a fun groove over all else for this record. Working alongside the upcoming talent Bad Disk on 'Electro Forever,' enjoy!"

MATRODA - PLAY THE MUSIC

Music, Original MixAlli LindseyComment

A certified bass house gem, “Play The Music” is the 5th cut taken from Matroda’s new 6-track EP Jack The House 2. The Slovenian artist has quickly solidified himself as a touchstone in contemporary house music, adding his own distinctive flair to the timeless electronic genre. Jack The House 2 succeeds in forging six unique tracks that share a stark uniformity to create a gravity-defying opus whose triumphs rely on the sum of its parts. “Play The Music” is an aptly-titled banger with an unrelenting bassline propelling its demanding vocal samples straight to the dance floor. A technical delight, “Play The Music” is an addicting track that works as the EP’s most approachable and adaptable number. A cerebral get-down made for late night warehouse digs, Matroda’s Jack The House 2 is categorically memorable.
