CHET FAKER - 1998 (AMATEUR DANCE REMIX)

Anyday where we get anything new from the Future Classic camp is a good day. Today we've been blessed with a new remix to Chet Faker's "1998". For Record Store Day, Chet put out the 1998 Melbourne Edition, a limited edition record consisitng of a series of remixes to his song "1998" by local Melbourne producers. A month later, the series has reappeared online with an additional remix by Amateur Dance. Let me be the first to tell Amateur Dance is no amateur to dance music and this remix has got our hips shaking. We'll be on the lookout for more tasty music from him in the future!

This next premiere is super delicious!! Summer is back and we can all get into poolside vibes once again! It may be cold and overcast in the bay area today,  but this new remix has got me feeling some kind of way! Fresh Canadian producer Shemce has put his flavor on the classic dance hit "Strobe" by Deadmau5, and flips it into a thick layered summer jam with spacey bridges that snap back into heavy house rhythms. I know right - sounds pretty awesome!! It's Monday - I have a mountain of work to do,  but I'm really trying to avoid all that and enjoy some new music.  Just came across this brilliant new track!!  Texas producer Skrux has remixed "No PLace Like Home ft. Today it's been announced that Matthew Dear has joined the Anjunadeep family under his alias Audion! This is very cool!!  For this announcement he has remixed "Ghost ft. Partick Baker" bu Lane 8, putting a dark techno twist on things! Totally loving this!!  

CHARLI XCX - DOING IT (CARMADA REMIX)

I just happen to be working very late tonight -- 2am blogging is usually not my thing, but I saw this track come up and well, I can't wait to talk about it!!  This year I have become super homies with Aussie legends Carmada - so far they have played 3 of my events in 2015, and if I can add more I will!!  Max and Drew are little sweet angels sent straight from heaven, and the music they make is pure fire!  I like to call it "Tropical Trap" however I saw a set in Miami that was dirty as hell!!  Some may say they are future beats - but really they're just bananas good!! Carmada's new remix of "Doing It" by Charli XCX is so delicious, I'll definitely have this on repeat for weeks!!  

THE KNOCKS - CLASSIC (PAT LOK SHYMIX)

Oh hi awesome track!!  This is what happens when you mix Canadian nu-disco producer Pat Lok with New York dance-funk masters The Knocks!!  This version of "Classic" has that super sexy synthed out groove that we all go bananas over!!  Share this one with your friends kids - it's a funky dance for gem for everyone!
