NEW MUSIC: SR. SLY - GHOST

New new new new new band!!  Sr. Sly - they come from Los Angeles and I am LOVING this single Ghost.  This is just another example of a super new band coming out of nowhere​ and freaking people out with their awesomeness!  This is a great LA sound - along the lines of Wildcat! Wildcat!, Foster The People, Electric Guest, and White Arrows!  Keep your eyes on Sr. Sly - huge!

NEW VIDEO: CHROME CANYON - BRANCHES

Chrome Canyon comes from Brooklyn, NY.....go figure.  That area of the world produces the greatest and the worst music ever!  This guy, Morgan Z, makes some pretty great electronic music - which he likes to call "Galactic Electro Yacht" - and has just released a self directed video for ​'Branches.'

NEW VIDEO: MOCK & TOOF - MY HEAD

Mock & Toof are releasing a new album Temporary Happiness on October 1!  The first material to emerge from the new album is called ‘My Head’ and it features vocals from young Swiss artist Ghostape. In a nutshell it’s one little catchy chugger with a heavy analog sound. The beats of the Boss DR-55 & the inimitable bass of the TB-303 lay the foundation. Clavs, bell lines and synth sweeps combine with Ghostape’s repetitive dubbed out vocals for a unique sounding electro-dub-funk inspired cut.

NEW VIDEO: SUBURBAN LIVING - I DON'T FIT IN

On the heels of the Cooper's Dream EP, Suburban Living unveil the Eyes Wide Shut inspired video for latest single, "I Don't Fit In." A dreamy, synth heavy jam drizzled in reverb, the video tackles the issue of isolation via the lens of scantily clad models in masks, cross dressing and pink lipstick.  The moniker of barely legal, Norfolk Virginia native, Wesley Bunch, Suburban Living has even drawn comparisons to the patron saint of pop despair, Morrissey.

Suburban Living embark on a mini east coast run in October before CMJ with dates opening for Ra Ra Riot, Mac DeMarco and more.
