NEW MUSIC: THE LIMOUSINES - BED BUGS (RADIO EDIT)

What can I say about my home-town homies The Limousines ..... that they are the best thing happening in San Francisco right now!  In a city full of amazing venues, great music scene and over enthusiastic crowds - the local scene leaves something to be desired.  There I said it, the SF local scene kinda blows, not gonna lie!  If SF can get it together and take a real good look at what's going on in Brooklyn, maybe shit would start happening for them.  Garage rock is cool, but this city wants to dance - so let them dance!!      

The Limousines get it!  Their second LP HUSH was released earlier this year and it's amazing.  This latest single "Bed Bugs" is a synthy pop song that says 80's flavor is alive and well, and we can dance and feel good and have a blast!  Eric Victorino's vocals are dreamy and soulful - he can get the girls .... and boys swooning!!  Best thing outta SF, get on it!! 

NEW MUSIC: XANDER MILNE - NY THEME (GQ & THEO PARRISH TRIBUTE)

This track is totally appropriate for today - having just returned from New York and settling back into San Francisco west coast pace - my head is still filled with images of great moments over the past week spent in Brooklyn and beyond.  Our first NY Beautiful Buzzz show was a success, now it's time to work on the next!  Xander Milne is just what this Friday morning needs with his discolicious track "NY Theme (GQ & Theo Parrish Tribute)" - the Disco Home Office is alive and bumpin' with this one!  Xander Milne is giving away his new edit to celebrate the Vulture Music label parties hitting London, so if you are on that side of the pond, be sure to check them out!  Free download - happy discoing!

DCUP’s latest single features the fantastic Australian style modern disco we’ve all come to love.  With drums that don’t stop, delicious trademark 80’s synths and Chic style guitar parts, this song is definitely using a winning formula. "Don't Be Shy" features the always fantastic Mereki of Goldroom lending her signature vocal style.  What else do you need to know?  This song is fantastic.

NEW MUSIC: FRENCH HORN REBELLION - CAAALIFORNIA FEAT. GHOST BEACH

As a Californian I always love a California song, but there’s something especially great about two New York groups - French Horn Rebellion and Ghost Beach - paying homage to the golden state.  The saying radiates with the classic endless summer vibe California is known for.  I’ve always secretly wanted an indie-pop tribute to California and in this song French Horn Rebellion nail it and create and instant anthem.  Stream "Caaalifornia" above!

Not gonna lie - I am totally obsessed with Du Tonc!  Their songs have hundreds and thousands of plays because of me, because I have played them that many times!  Du Tonc is pretty much all my dreams coming true at once, and their new track "Island" is no exception to the rule!  Guess what happens when you put a Brit with a Aussie and tell them to make awesome music!  Yea..... fuckin Du Tonc happens!!  London based DJ and producer Mighty Mouse mixes it up with Sydney native Matt Van Schie (Van She) and create greatness!  Wooo!!  Pick up this new single now via iTunes HERE!  

REMIX: DIVE IN - LET GO (LOVELIFE REMIX)

I have a UK band crush - they are called Dive In, and they are fabulous!  They were brought to my attention a few months back, and I went head over heals!  Their track "Let Go" is super tasty!  Now that Lovelife has dropped this new remix - things seem to be in perfect harmony!  I can't wait for my first live set from Dive In .... FINALLY!!  A new track from Breton!  We have been waiting patiently for over a year while the London based lads worked on their new record, and it was definitely worth the wait!  "Got Well Soon" is the kind of song that takes you on that dark and sexy journey on the dance floor - you know the one I'm talking about .... where good meets evil, where right and wrong become one, and where you are elevated to some sort of next level state of being.  Yea ... the best!!  Breton has one US date scheduled this year in New York at Glasslands - December 13!  Plans are for them to be back for SXSW 2014 and US tour - I am as giddy as a school girl for this new record and to have them back again!
