NEW MUSIC: REY PILA - ALEXANDER

I've heard the rumors - Mexico City has one hell of a music scene!  I guess so, seeing as how it has produced a band like Rey Pila!  This is pretty much indie rock at its best!  I have had the great pleasure of working with this band, they played our SXSW showcase this year and absolutely killed it.  When Rey Pila took the little stage at our modest venue - they dazzled every soul in attendance, and my co-producer and I were freaking out backstage over how rad this band is.  I swooned - pretty hard actually - this band is delicious!

NEW VIDEO: DINOSAUR BONES - PACIFIST IN CAMOUFLAGE

Dinosaur Bones has announced their first proper US tour dates in support of their sophomore album Shaky Dream, which came out on Dine Alone Records on August 6th.  The band will be on the road in Canada with Brendan Canning from Broken Social Scene in November, with two dates dipping into the States.  The band will then continue on their US tour at the beginning of December, with dates up and down the West Coast, before heading back East, with stops in Texas, North Carolina, Washington DC and New York.  Dinosaur Bones is also sharing a new video for “Pacifist In Camouflage,” produced by Southern Souls, which showcases how dynamic the band is live before they kick off the tour.  Dinosaur Bones combination of dark pop, grandiose hooks and flourishing rhythmic drone has garnered them critical praise worldwide.

NEW MUSIC: RAINMODE - BUCKLE UP

And just when you thought the day could not get any better, here I come with a new band that will have you in a tizzy!!  Introducing Rainmode - and yeah they're Swedish too!!  My bestie over at The Most Definitely passed this along, and I have to say I was hooked 20 seconds in!  This is electro-pop greatness!!  Rainmode is a new electronic duo with singer/songwriter Henrik Skanfors and DJ Martin “Alec Sonite” Alexandersson.  This tgrack is so delicious I must have played it 30 times already!  Really excited to see more music from Rainmode!  

REMIX: ALUNA.GEORGE - BEST BE BELIEVING (LOVELIFE REMIX)

We will never get tired of talking about Lovelife - and listening to Lovelife - and going to Lovelife shows.  You could say our world is Lovelife, and why would it not be??  They are amazing!!  This fab 4 have just pumped out another crazy good remix, this time they put their flavor on "Best Be Believing" by AlunaGeorge!  It's good shit - listen and love!

NEW MUSIC: BRETON - ENVY

We are all a buzzz over here at Beautiful Buzzz because of this band and our upcoming New York show with them!  Breton came into our lives 2 years ago at SXSW and swooped us right off our feet!  It's been a little over a year since their last visit to the states, thankfuly they are coming back - and we are getting new tracks and a new record to boot!!  Fuck yes, Breton!  "Envy" is the second single from their upcoming release War Room Stories due out February 3 which you can pre-order in iTunes HERE!.  We have an advance copy and this record is fucking brilliant!

NEW MUSIC: CITY CALM DOWN - SPEAK TO NO END

Stop EVERYTHING!!  City Calm Down has a new single out, and you must stop what you're doing and listen to "Speak To No End" immediately.  I am not gonna lie - we here at the Beautiful Buzzz Disco office are OBSESSED with this band! For the past two years or so we have been busting out City Calm Down tracks on road trips, dance parties, disco house parties, the Disco Home Office, DJ sets, radio shows, and most places you can think of where music is playing.  We also like to drunk tweet at them, which we actually have not done in quite a while (sorry guys, we'll have to change that) , and every Australian band we come across, we ask them if they know City Calm Down (they usually do) - actually we ask every Australian we meet .... because that's how hard we nerd out over this band!  This new single is AMAZEBALLS - and this is why we love City Calm Down so much!  Love love love!!! 

REMIX: DELOREAN - DESTITUTE TIME (SLOW MAGIC REMIX)

The love we have for Slow Magic here at the Beautiful Buzzz Disco Office is HUGE!  He dazzled us with his live show at our SXSW showcase this year, and stole our hearts in the process with is charm and amazing personality!  Slow Magic rules!  His new remix of "Destitute Time" by Delorean is fantastic!  You can see Slow Magic live this fall - he'll be on tour in the states this December!
