Amidst constant touring over the past year, ODESZA remained busy in the studio creating new music to follow up 2013's My Friends Never Die EP. One of the early fruits of their labor is the fantastic "Sun Models," which will appear on a forthcoming album to be released later this year. The production on "Sun Models" shines a little brighter and the beats bang a little harder than any of ODESZA's previous work. Coupled with jaw dropping vocals from Madelyn Grant, "Sun Models" hints at big things ahead for the production duo, and you can grab this track as a free download!

My beautiful friends are coming into a new era, Little Daylight are going to steal your heart - this will be your new favorite band! And to think it was just under a year ago when they played their first live set at the Beautiful Buzzz SXSW showcase in Austin! I'm beaming right now!! This band has every element that is cool and current in indie pop music, along with style and grit - with a sexy edginess that in undeniably amazing! Nailed it!! I love every minute I spend with these kittens, from SF shows to CMJ to SXSW - the love I have for these people in this band is BANANAS!! Little Daylight will be releasing their first LP later this year - get some!!

CommentLe Youth is everything I love about nu disco. All his tracks sound like they were co-written by George Clinton in 2020 and it’s fantastic. This new remix is no exception. Chromeo’s "Come Alive" provides the perfect foundation for Le Youth’s dancy reimagination. For fans of C O O L or Chromeo this track isn’t one to miss. Actually for anyone with ears this track isn’t one to miss!
REMIX: BOYS NOIZE - CONCHORD FEAT. SIRIUSMO (OLIVER REMIX)
CommentWhen Oliver dropped MYB they changed everything. Suddenly it became easy to get everybody up and dancing and suddenly I had to listen to every single track Oliver put out. Although their Boys Noize remix is more electro than a lot of their tracks, it still has that disco flare that makes Oliver great.

CommentStrange Talk have come into my life this year, and it's amazing! I've been a fan for quite some time, I mean they're Australian and make electro-pop music - two of my most favorite things!! Lately they have just been around, like a lot, and they are so cute and delicious and I just love their songs!! They slayed at my CMJ showcase .... and we'll be doing another Beautiful Buzzz show together real soon (not announced), siked!! Strange Talk has a delicious new track "Young Hearts" that is out now, and plans for a new record in the US on April 29! Get some!!

CommentPretty sure Kool Head is my most favorite new band in the past year. A while back I stumbled upon their single "Stick Up Kids" which I freaked out over! I played it for everyone I knew - because it's AMAZING and people need to know about Kool Head! This week they released a new video for "Leon" which is brilliant! 80's electro vibe with disco dance floor beats - fuck yes!! I love where future music is going, and bands like Kool Head may not be reinventing the wheel, but they sure are giving it one hell of a spin!

CommentSo... this is one of those bands who you've never heard of, but in about 3 weeks are going to be EXPLODING on the scene! Wave Racer are about to kill it! The industry rumors circling this band for SXSW are bananas; they'll be the band to see in Austin! That's what I hear anyway, and as they should be!! Future Classic does it again - fuck everything they touch is so crazy good!! This new single "Streamers" comes out worldwide on FEB 7th so scoop it up!! Wave Racer will be on tour in the states with Touch Sensitive, and I happen to know Beautiful Buzzz will be involved with one of those dates ..... stay tuned!!!

CommentAfter the stressful day I have had, watching this new Mystery Skulls video for "Ghost" pretty much made my day - I mean I laughed - out loud - a lot!! Let's not forget how rad this song is, and how Mystery Skulls destroyed the stage at Mezzanine last December - I mean it was BANANAS!! But to see this video and watch this guy dancing - it reminds me of everything I love abut being silly and fun and dancing like a fool!
