Well this is exciting! New Polarests! Woo!! This band has been highly under rated, they have great songs and a great sound - more people need to know what's up! They played my SXSW show a few years back and I was so excited to have them, I kinda nerded out when they showed up! Huge fan - we'll always support Polarsets! This new track "Madrid" is the debut single from their debut full length record out September 21! It's deliciousaly tropical with indie edgy undertones! SO good! Listen and love!

CommentVibes for days! JackLNDN is on my radar kids - I'm loving what I am hearing from this London based producer. This jam is over flowing with summer chill vibes that all of us need in our lives. I've been so busy today I have not even gone outside - so this JackLNDN remix of "Poison" by Pablo Nouvelle is just what I needed! Not quite slow jam and not quite a dance floor banger - it's perfectly somewhere between!

CommentPlastic Plates is pretty much one of my favorite Australians, but most musical Australians are my favorite people so I better be careful who I favor more! Felix is a bro however, and everything he touches is perfection! It was almost a year ago when I first brought him to San Francisco for an Outside Lands after party - and our relationship began with hours of texting while his flight in LA was delayed for 12 hours, and he barily made it to the club for his set! Drama! Then my beer sponsor ended up putting him in a hotel that was pretty much a hostle for homeless people! Plastic Plates is a cool guy tho, and didn't hold it against me, and now we're pals!
His tracks and remixes are always brilliant, and his live set, well ...... BANANAS! This new remix of "Running Blind" by Georgia Mason is the beez kneez!! Release date is TBA - but until then you can stream it here! Hi-five Felix!

CommentOnce in a while I like to get out of our electro nu-disco deep house world and taste something a bit different! This Brooklyn genius came to me a few years back, and I liked .... but was not hooked! Today however, the new track from Sinkane is completely doing it for me! "How We Be" is in fact so good, I have revisited older tracks. I'm not sure how I could be so wrong about something, but I was..... Sinkane is slaying my world tonight with his thick 70's funk mixed with indie pop sound - this is the stuff dreams are made of! The new single is from the forthcoming album, Mean Love, out Sept 2 on City Slang (EU) and DFA (US).

CommentMy bb's are back! I have been missing them so much! Lovelife had us at hello, and for a while it was non-stop track after track. Lately they have been doing that studio thing which means less now, but so much more later! Lovelife's latest single "Nova" is so typical Lovelife - which is bloody amazing! After 2 years of music and many hangs - this British indie pop band can still make me swoon! Listen and love!
