We never forget where are roots come from when it comes to music, and even tho we typically talk about electronic and indie pop music around these parts - indie rock is what we were raised on.  Personally, I am a sucker for British dudes in bands because they are ohhh so dreamy (how American of me), and I also happen to really love this band's music!!  As Elephants Are are no stranger to us, and they have a new single called "Crown" which will be released on NOV 17!  It's delicious indie pop/rock with that dirty spin that only Brits can produce!  I'm dying to see As Elephants Are live, maybe we'll get some state side love in the near future!!  Listen and love!!

OK - so who better to find new music from than your friends.  I know this guy back home in California who is deep into the funky soul Nu-Disco, like bad!!  He's so silky smooth with is song choices, he shines .... sparkles even!! He shared this track "Shine For Me (ft. Vijee)" from Russian producer 5 Reasons, and I was like .... ohhhh yyeeaaaaa!! That's my dude, gettin' sexy with funky summertime poolside jams!!  Then I see 5 Reasons has worked with Patrick Baker in the past, and it all makes since!! DUDE!!  Summer may be over but the sun always shines for my friend!!

Australians getting together making funky house music??  Yes Please!!!!  Yolanda Be Cool and DCUP have teamed up to produce this smash single "Sugar Man" - which helps them kick off their tour through Australia together!  Now that sounds like a party!!  Taking this classic hit by Rodriguez was a brilliant idea - boys done good!! Also, any band who gets their name from a Pulp Fiction quote has an automatic win!!  Get yer dance on!!

As I sit in my amazing Brooklyn apartment tonight, I'm suffering through some pretty crazy jetlag, which has really never happened to me, and then I realized I really must be getting old Whatever, I may be old, however I am still on the sutting edge - and to prove it here is a delicious new track that is totally amazing!!  Xinobi is a legend producer from Lisbon, and sometimes you can find him on tour with Moullinex as part of his live band!!  Bananas!!  "They All Feel The Same" is a genre crossing mecca of greatness - Indie, disco, electro, blues....all wrapped into a ball of the good surff!!  Xinobi's new album 1975 comes out OCT 13, and you can scoop it on iTunes HERE!

It's been hard to get songs up the past week because we have been busy hosting festivals!  Last weekend TBD in Sacramneto, thie weekend Escape in New York!  I'm tired, but I am having a blast!  Wanted to get this one up real quick - the homie Autograf remixed "Team" by Lorde, and it's making my very stressful day of festival production much more enjoyable!  Autograf is giving this one away for free - so swoop it up ASAP!

Since his debut EP NIGHTDAY. which dropped earlier this year, the mysterious Zhu has had the whole world sitting on the edge of their seat anticipating his next move. Our latest offering stemming from the dance mastermind comes in the form of a remix by our Australian sweethearts RÜFÜS. They're remix takes the dance floor ready song and turns it in to a dance floor necessity. We'll be busy dancing to this for the coming weeks.
