DIM SUM - TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS

We may be heading into the fall months, but I refuse to give up that summertime vibe -- because summer jams should be played year round! I think everyone can agree with this! And just in time for our weekend disco antics we have French duo Dim Sum providing their Top 5 Summer Jams exclusively for us -- yusssss! These guys have been killing the remix game this year with their versions of Odesza, Foster the People plus more ... and Dim Sum have selected 5 very tasty tracks for some Friday fun times! Teenage Mutants - Barbès (Original Mix)
We have been playing this track in almost all of our DJ sets this summer! Really loving Teenage Mutants’ productions.

Benet - Foolture
We have discovered Benet’s work with this track and now we are big fans. This song is so groovy!

Kazy Lambist - Doing Yoga (Civilian Remix)
'Doing Yoga' by French artist Kazy Lambist is already a perfect electro pop song but Civilian ads an even more funkier touch with this remix.

JackLNDN - Firing Line
JackLNDN has a particular sound that you can hear in all his productions. We really love this one because it is an instrumental with a very cool and original lead synth theme.

Lindstrøm - Home Tonight (Fort Romeau Remix)
This is a wonderful remix by Fort Romeau, we love playing it in our sets as much as listening to it at home. There is a beautiful break in the middle of the track with arps that really transport you… then the beat is back again and we could go for hours.

JACKLNDN - TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS

As we cruise into this 4th of July holiday weekend, our bud JackLNDN has given us his top 5 summer jams for us to vibe on!  He's put a lot of thought into this as well!  Jack is not one to do anything 1/2 way - from his high energy live sets to his sunny personality to his hilarious disposition -- he's always at 100!  JackLNDN has picked out some sexy tracks, perfect for our summer jams!  I am so excited to have him on my boat party this weekend - this Brit will be celebrating our American independence day with new friends and southern California feels! 

Tyler Touché - Act Of God ft. Jason Gaffner
This disco bouncer is the perfect way to kick off the selection. Tyler Touche, lays down a bunch of classic sounds, infused with his signature cool funk and topped off with killer vocals. It’s hard to resist it.  I particularly love the pluckiness and movement in the baseline, it keeps the track rolling along nicely.

Hayden James - Something About You (Just Kiddin Remix)
I love everything the Just Kiddin guys put out, without exception. I’m always playing there music out, and it always goes off. Been rinsing their JT edit for years now haha. Their latest offering just dropped and is no disappointment. Been craving a version of this track to throw in my sets and now I have the perfect one.

Craig David - Fill Me In (Sterling Silver & Mark Maxwell Bootleg)
This next one is a bit of a weapon, I have been playing it a whole bunch recently. Huge throwback and a little bit of everything, plus a bouncy unexpected drop. This should have a tonne more plays. Always seeing people smile and sing along when I drop it.

Tom Misch - Sunshine
There hasn’t been a Tom Misch track in a while that I haven’t loved. This new track is so chilled, and about as summery as they come. Called ‘Sunshine’ it features his classic laid back vocals with nice groovy guitar picks, and his signature juicy chord choices.

Kartell - Mood
Kartell is one my all time favourite producers. The variety of what he produces is amazing and consistently vibey. He is also responsible for throwing together some of my favourite mix tapes too.This track is taken from his new EP, which includes the insanely bouncy ‘Attracted’ amongst other bangers. I chose this one instead because its super chilled and beautiful. The perfect late afternoon early evening track for the summer.

JACKLNDN - FIRING LINE

It's no secret about  my affection for this British beats maker - it's all out there for the whole world to see!  But hey, when you make tracks like this, how can you not love the guy! JackLNDN has released his latest original this week, just in time for the 4th of July weekend!  It's nothing but what JackLNDN does best - deep funky grooves mixed with hot dance floor beats! This year we have watched this disco house legend rise amongst the ranks and emerge as a true contender for party vibes!  Now that he is living in the states - we'll get to see him much more, which is music to my ears!  Swoop this one on Beatport HERE!  

SIVIK - GOT U (JACKLNDN REMIX)

I mean, this needs to stop happening! Our boy JackLNDN smashes remixes right and left - and now we get another one this week! His version of "Got U" by SIVIK is 100% disco-licious!! Filled with all the things we love about JackLNDN, like disco dance floor beats and summertime poolside vibes, this groove is on point!! If you are in SoCal this weekend, JackLNDN will be playing a couple gigs, and one of them will be with us at OASIS FSTVL in San Diego on Saturday June 13 - so grab a ticket and get your dance on!

The next adventure for Beautiful Buzzz .... we're heading south!! Working on the OASIS FSTVL SERIES has been fun and challenging, everything you could possibly want with the career you choose! We have also made some pretty great new friends who we are so happy to be working with, and laughing with, and loving this experience with! I mean .... literally ..... all we talk about is this one right here!!  JackLNDN has become the Beautiful Buzzz obsession lately!!  Not a day goes by that we don't blast his jams in the disco office!!  It seems like he's been dropping a track a week, this kid is on fire and we are loving it!!  This week it's a sexy remix of "Not Around" by Montgomery, filled with that disco groove that JackLNDN has perfected!  He's actually on tour in the states all summer - which is total music to our ears!!
