KERMODE - KEEP IT DARK

Mystical and thunderous, Vancouver-based producer Kermode is back with his latest single, “Keep It Dark.” The deep house track is an unfettered shadow of intensity and looming frequencies. This shuffle anthem is unique and distinct, yet remains familiar and approachable. “Keep It Dark” is the lead single to Kermode’s forthcoming Retro Ghost EP, laying the groundwork for what will be one of the finest house projects of 2018. Whenever I hear there is a new Bag Raiders remix dropped into the world, I find my headphones as quickly as possible because I know it’s going to be pure fire! Our Aussie friends are starting to show their face from a year long absence in the US … I don’t know about you guys but I have been jonesing for a Bag Raiders dance party for months now! Remember last time we brought them to SF on the boat party? Yea …. that was fun! To get us in the mood, the boys have delivered their version of “Body Move” by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs - it’s dance floor heater with that steady tribal Bag Raiders vibe that gets us all on our feet and shakin’ booty! RÜFÜS DU SOL - NEW SKY

Happy release day RÜFÜS DU SOL! Today we get to experience SOLACE in its entirety, and I am happy to say that it’s every bit as amazing as we thought it would be. This Australian trio takes us through a sonic journey with synthy melodies and dreamy vocals for the most epic vibes … it’s like the best dream we’ve ever had. I chose to post “New Sky” because of the contagious dance beats and massive feels …. but really the whole album is amazing! If there is on thing you do today, it should be listening to this!

LANE 8 - HOLD ON (BEN BOHMER REMIX)

It seems that all things Anjunadeep are taking over, well, everything. This fantastic little label is not only churning out major dance tracks, but it’s creating a whole movement of deep house feel good vibes that the world is embracing. Yung German producer and Anjunadeep rising star Ben Böhmer just dropped this dreamy remix of “Hold On” by labelmate Lane 8, and I’m swooning! With smooth ethereal melodies and light bouncy deep house beats, this track will take you on a magical journey on the dance floor. Lane 8 will be dropping his Little Bu Little remix album on OCT 04, so this is just a taste of what’s to come!

The Moon Boots First Landing remixes dropped today via Anjunadeep, and honestly they're all so delicious I could post the lot!  However, this version of "Red Sky" remixed by Fort Romeau is just too cha cha for words! This young British producer is no stranger to our pages - we've been swooning over him for years, and we love love love the deep dark dance vibes coming from his elegant remix. THE KNOCKS - GOODBYES FT. METHOD MAN

My boys are back! The Knocks are gearing up to drop their next next album New York Narcotic on September 28, and today they released the net single "Goodbyes ft. Method Man" for all the Friday feels. Like true Knocks fashion, they fill the air with that laid back summer time  funky dance groove with thick R&B melodies under hip-hop vocals ... this is a fantastic summer jam! This new album is gonna be nuts, and we'll have more new exciting news about out favorite NY duo in the weeks to come! Feel this one kids!

[NEW SHOW] BREAKBOT (DJ SET) & IRFANE // OCTOBER 13 // SAN FRANCISCO

3 years ago, I threw my first party at Mezzanine in San Francisco. It was my first time bringing a Beautiful Buzzz show into a room of this large capacity and I was so nervous! I sold out that show weeks in advance, it was the best feeling in the world, and it was with Ed Banger legend .... Breakbot! Fast forward to today, I am now in-house talent buyer at Mezzanine, and we'll be reuniting with Breakbot once again for a huge dance party.  I'm not so nervous this time around ... just super excited!
