BEARSON - FEELINGS (FEAT. HART)

Music, Original MixSara NatkinsComment

The weekend just got a little sweeter as Bearson just dropped his newest single “Feelings.” One of his finest songs to-date, he teamed up with Swedish-vocalist HART to deliver a heart-fluttering tune that depicts the too-well-known struggle of trying to open up to someone about your feelings when you’re hurting. HART’s delicate vocals mesh perfectly with Bearson’s charged, melodic production. Emotions run high with this catchy track that will be stuck in your head for weeks.

"Feelings started with me receiving a demo remotely from Sweden. I really liked the song, so I got a hold of the vocal stems and started building around it from scratch. I usually like being in the studio with the vocalists I'm working with, but in these weird times we're in I guess I'll have to get used to this way of working too, haha." - Bearson

SLOW MAGIC - HOME

Music, Original MixSara NatkinsComment

Sink into sonic sound waves as Slow Magic coaxes listeners into sweet serenity in his newest. A triumphant display of Slow Magic's signature sound laced with nuanced flare, "Home" is a stunning effort from the anonymous producer. Swelling effervescent textures set the stage in "Home," poignantly placed over Slow Magic's infectious drum patterns. Elegant crooning vocals glide seamlessly atop a synth-laden back-sound, as "It's a long drive/but we're going home" mellifluously echoes.

“'I swore the sky was falling / but the morning sun still rose.' These lyrics from my new single ‘Home’ encapsulate the message of my album it’s the end of the world but it’s ok. Now more than ever, it can feel like everything is falling apart. With this project and this song, I want to remind people that even through the worst times, we can make it through.” - Slow Magic

SUPER DUPER - SPIRITUAL / ALL ON YOU

Music, Original MixAlli LindseyComment

Bringing dance music to life in Nashville, alternative-electronic producer Super Duper delivers his 2-part single “Spiritual” and “All On You.” The critically-acclaimed musician blends quintessential indie music with a signature electronic underline. Having toured alongside electronic music heavyweights The Chainsmokers, Petit Biscuit, Kasbo, The Glitch Mob, and Big Wild, Super Duper possesses an energy both on-stage and in the studio that breaks boundaries and resonates with the entire music industry. “Spiritual” is brushed with a formidable indie resonance as glistening synths dance around each note and transition. “All On You” righteously counters the former with a chopped, dance-driven beat inducing a sharp sense of euphoria. Like a yin and yang, this Fader label-signed release is nothing short of intoxicating.

BRONZE WHALE X POLES - AUSTIN IS FADING

Music, Original MixAlli LindseyComment

Austin natives and purveyors of the future of sound, Bronze Whale team up with Poles to deliver their atmospheric single, “Austin Is Fading.” A vaguely melancholic reminder of Austin’s rapidly-shifting culture, this Bronze Whale original is a slow burn with a lingering sentiment. Defined by its ponderous synth work and interconnecting rhythmic patterns, this smoked-out single is a hazy listen with jarring replay value. A mindfully-crafted collaboration, Bronze Whale and Poles showcase artistic synchronicity with a glossy elegance and sharp-witted intellect. Listen to Bronze Whale’s most contemplative single to date today

CONNOR CAINE - NEED YOU BACK (WITH KOBY & ANDREW WEITZ)

Music, Original MixAlli LindseyComment

Connor Caine is an LA-based independent hip-hop and R&B producer quickly establishing himself as an individual enterprise. The third look into his forthcoming debut EP, “Need You Back” enlists the help of vocalist Andrew Weitz and fellow producer Koby of breakout electronic duo LMBO. This buttery track is a smoked-out gem embellished with mellow cadences and R&B aromas. Atmospheric as hell and mellifluous to boot, Connor Caine’s signature flow is an ebb and flow of musical zest. Intentionally layered with dreamy rhythms, “Need You Back” sounds something like sunrise.

“Driven by the early electronic influences in koby’s production, the song sways between silky R&B harmonics, the gritty saturation of its’ percussion and low end, and a smooth topline kicked off by our homie Andrew Weitz. It originally started as a composition piece for koby’s master’s recital, and with influence and direction from our boys, evolved into the song that it is today. “

CHRIS SIEGEL - NEVER NEED TO KNOW (FEAT. ANDREW BRIOL)

Music, Original MixAlli LindseyComment

Wrapping up a groundbreaking year, Milwaukee’s own Chris Siegel offers up a hybrid-electronic gem “Never Need To Know.” His most dynamic track to date features the soul saturated vocals of Andrew Briol creating an outline of versatile soundscapes that fuse together effortlessly. Rooted in emotional pop cadences, Chris Siegel rinses out the track with a robust sax line to create an entirely immersive and jazzy listening experience. Swathed in a groovy tenor, this colorful tune simultaneously tackles the difficulties of letting go.

“The song was inspired by the concept of letting go — in this case a relationship. I think in our hyperconnected world, it’s become quite easy for people to have instant access to memories of past relationships/partners/etc.. Whether that’s deep diving on social media or simply seeing an old flame pop up in your feed, it’s the idea of regurgitating the past instead of completely moving on. The song was inspired by a friend who was going through the motions earlier this year. Admittedly, I think it’s something we’ve all done at some point in our lives (i.e. hyper-analyzing our past when in fact it’s much smarter to move on from it). I think it’s inherently human, but also pretty unhealthy”

A comforting listen with elegant sound design, “Never Need To Know” is one we can’t get enough of. Listen today.
