You’d never guess that NYC-based producer Jared Rapoza, better known as CRVE U, was a recent high school graduate starting college classes this fall. Weighing in at 17 years old, the youthful artist tends to a craft that is far from novice. His latest single is a remix of the animated Robert Delong’s “Favorite Color Is Blue” featuring K.Flay. CRVE U gives the electro-pop single an industrial treatment, brushing it with mechanized shades of chrome. Elements of grit blend like a yin and yang with graceful undertones.
