It may be raining in San Francisco today, but this bay area legend wants us to keep summertime alive! Our boy Viceroy is back with his latest sun soaked edit of "Kokomo" by The Beach Boys. I was in 5th grade and living in Texas when this hit came out ... it was HUGE! My girlfriends and I choreographed a dance and performed it for a music assignment in my arts class. Wild times back then! Makes me laugh now that The Beach boys were talking about afternoon delights and tropical contact highs -- totally clueless! Viceroy's version is filled with mellow vibes under some pretty heavy bass, and I'm very happy he left the sax solo ... and even tho it's summertime all the time in this producer's world, he's letting us ease into fall with pineapples in our eyes!
