Sometimes when I think about Slow Magic - I think there is not another individual in the world as brilliant as he. When we first met, he played my SXSW show in 2013, and kinda stole my heart a little with is sweetness - the sweetest boy I think I have ever met! Then, he just destroyed his set - like it was totally effortless - like it was what he is meant to do in this world. Slow Magic released a new album this year - How To Run Away - and its brilliant! I have listened one million times! My only complaint is that I was not able to see a live show this year due to conflicting schedules - but already have things in the works for 2015. Slow Magic is pretty much my favorite thing of 2014!
