LOST KINGS - YOU FT. KATELYN TARVER (UNLIKE PLUTO REMIX)

I spent 3 days dealing with Coachella FOMO. Even though I personally dislike going to festivals, I still feel that green eyed monster deep inside when I see all the people I know out in the desert ... and Flume .... So I just watched a ton of old 80's movies, ate a whole pack of Oreo Double Stuffed cookies, and took naps! Many many naps! Now here we are after weekend one, and I get to do it all over again this weekend - wish I could be somewhere I really don't want to be but FOMO! One thing I definitely can't sleep on is this Unlike Pluto remix of "You ft. Katelyn Tarver" by Lost Kings! In just a few short weeks I'll be seeing all these Los Angeles legends playing songs for me to shake my but - I can't wait! This remix has deep pulsating beats over an addictive groove that I am loving! This one is the first of 5 remixes coming out via Spinnin' Records - the EP drops April 25!

BLUBIRD - WAKE UP

Ahh back to the grind. If you're feeling a bit of the Mon-daze that I am then you are really going to appreciate this one from London via Slovenia based BluBird. "Wake Up" is an energetic upbeat feel good record that is totally wiping the sleep from my eyes. A deep kick, synth stabs and claps accompany a fun guitar line filling in the instrumental underneath a relaxing female voice urging us to "Wake Up! Sun is shining for you!" TBH - I am super slammed today with all the things and will only have a few minutes to bring you some new tracks! So much came out today, I'll definitely have to play catch up over the weekend when everyone is at Coachella!  For those of you not heading out to the desert this weekend I promise to keep you busy with lots of great music - who needs Coachella anyway! Here's a dreamy track from young Kidswaste - he flipped "tbh ily" by Chet Porter into fun and bouncy laid back jam that I have had on repeat for the last hour! OTERO - WAITING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU

It's not every day I come across a producer from Caracas, and I just happen to stumble upon this one by accident really!  It's one of those times I read the book by it's cover - I loved the artwork so I decided to listen! Wow! I've just found my new favorite thing this week - and it's Otero! This new track is so on point with it's obscure vocals over heady future beats - it's bananas good! Grab a free download HERE!

TUNJI IGE & ILOVEMAKONNEN - DON'T DO TOO MUCH (CAVALIER REMIX)

When this young producer took the stage at our SXSW day party this year, things got heated - in a good way! Cavalier brought his heavy trap sound full force to a crowded room, and we loved every minute! This week he drops his latest fire with new remix "Don't Do Too Much" by Tunji Ige & ILOVEMAKONNEN, and it's kicking off my morning will all that delicious low end! Yummy! 

K.FLAY - FML (KRNE REMIX)

My girl K.Flay just dropped a remix package for "FML" and just our luck one of our favorite new producers put his juicy future sound all over this bad boy! KRNE - I know it seems we can't shut up about him - but he just crushes every single thing he puts into the world! More days than not I am saying FML - and I sooo vibe with what K.Flay has to say - living out my dreams with all the late night shows and 14 hours work days this industry demands of us, and I can't be bothered to change, nor would I ever if I had the chance! TWIN WAVE - MATADOR

With us walking up the doorsteps to Coachella, South By merely moments ago and festival season completely upon us, it's hard not to walk around with a smile. For music lovers we have reached the mecca of musical paradise: Spring and Summer are finally here! This new track by Twin Wave has exactly the kind of upbeat energy that I'm vibing with hard right now. Sunny bright guitar, a quick rhythm and a totally infectious chorus vocal hook that fills out the instrumental with ease. The Brooklyn based trio has been honing their sound since 2013, but have found a great stride with this new dream pop sound. They cite it lies somewhere between the likes of Future Islands and the Police and I couldn't agree more. I'm excited to hear more from this trio, consider me officially on board the bandwagon!

Y2K & LIL AARON - DAMN (MISOGI REMIX)

This year at SXSW, when I got to my AirBNB these two little angels were crashed out on my floor - and Lil Aaron didn't have a blanket or pillow or anything! I said, "Lil Aaron that's not right, damn" and I grabbed the comforter and a pillow from my bed and hooked it up! What a great week tho, seeing Y2K and Lil Aaron bounce in and out of my venue, as well as deliver a siiick set! I love these boys!! KOLAJ - THE TOUCH

I'm having a little case of the Mon-daze today still reeling from our epic show Friday night with Goldroom. In typical fashion I'm turning to music to pull me out of my funk and get me back on the up and up, and this new track by electronic pop duo KOLAJ is just the thing. Sea breeze guitar, tropical sounds and energetic bass combine to fill out the comforting instrumental underneath lead singer Teesa's wonderful vocals. KOLAJ has been releasing some really fantastic music recently. Their previous single "100 Degrees" has been a favorite since it came out and "The Touch" really follows suit.
