I have had the most chill weekend - laying low at home working on upcoming events. I'm not jelly over all the homies in Chicago at Lollapalooza or in LA for HARD Summer because of two simple words .... air conditioning. That's right, I'm actually cold rn and need a hoodie, maybe I'll take a nap too! One thing that's not cold is this new Popeska track "I Believe." It's all about the journey, not the destination. At least that’s what I tell myself when I’m relentlessly Soundcloud digging for a new track to post. After scouring countless songs this morning, I came across what just might be one of my newest favorite acts - SKOTT. Not much can be found about her online, but her newest track ‘Wolf’ is quite a gem that I just happened to come across. Her calming voice paired with the natural piano chords and percussion makes for an incredibly catchy piece. With only about 2k followers, her maturity and sound as an artist seem to reflect a much bigger and more established act. If you’re looking for a new tune this weekend, look no further!

NOTNO - SMOKE THAT

When my homie B-Roc from The Knocks drops me an email saying I need to check out a new tune - I always listen. His label HeavyRoc Music has been producing some pretty amazing artists lately, and their newest signing NOTNO just released a new single "Smoke That" which I 100% love! This New York duo is crossing house music with hip-hop vibes to create a superb funky dance groove.... get into this one kids!

Whenever Jerry Folk drops a new one - I get all feely inside because he kinda rules my heart with all his sweet sweet jams! His future soul vibes are so smooth and sexy, it's hard to believe he's only a 20 year old yung buck from Norway. This new jam "Stanley ft. I can't even tell you how excited I am about our first show with Coyote Kisses and this new track - it's Friday y'all let's get crazy! This Los Angeles duo has been making me swoon for a minute - and today they release "Waiting For You ft. Madison Love" which is a perfect future pop track filled with big bass beats and playful vocals - might just be my favorite track of the week! Let's just all pause and talk about how next weekend Coyote Kisses will be playing my Outside Lands Festival after party - AUG 05 at Mezzanine w/ Robokid and Branchez! THE CHAINSMOKERS - CLOSER FT. HALSEY

If you thought this Friday couldn’t get any better, you’ve thought wrong. After months of endless hype since the live debut of this song at Coachella, The Chainsmokers have finally caved in with the release of their track “Closer” with pop singer and songwriter Halsey. We can only hope that The Chainsmokers have more releases line like this lined up for the rest of the year, because it’s pretty darn amazing! It's so catchy and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't playing it on repeat all morning.

MIDNIGHT FACES - HEAVENLY BODIES (FRED FALKE REMIX)

French disco house and funk master Fred Falk quietly released this remix a few days ago, so quietly in fact that is almost slipped under my radar! Good thing I have a pool party in SF coming up with this legend and was pulling some music for event posts when I saw this gem! Fred Falke has spread his rich funky flavor all over this remix of "Heavenly Bodies" by Midnight Faces! Delicious! OFELIA K - KILLING ME

Pretty sure I have just decided Ofelia K is my new girl crush ... all her tracks are the bee's knees I can't stop with her! She just gets me. Maybe it's because I mostly post tracks from producers who are men, that when I get a pop song from the female perspective it just clicks. It's like she writes songs for me - her vibe and overall attitude ... she just gets me. Her new track "Killing Me" is out tomorrow via South By Sea Music, and it's pop perfection. You rock Ofelia K!
