BEN BROWNING - FRIENDS OF MINE

Here's some delicious electro-pop for your Thursday afternoon!! Cut Copy's Ben Browning released his new single "Friends Of Mine" from his upcoming full length release Turns. We are no strangers to this legend - he's helped shape the indie pop dance music scene into what it is today, and I can't wait to hear more!  He'll be hitting the road this summer with a select handful of live dates - and the San Francisco show will be at my old stomping grounds Neck Of The Woods on August 1!  Check out the remaining dates below, and get out to a show!

GOLDROOM - EMBRACE (FT. GEORGE MAPLE)

Alright, I am gonna admit - this one is tough for me! Goldroom pretty much inspired me to start Beautiful Buzzz - he is the driving force behind everything I've done for the past 4-5 years and helped me reach some pretty cool lifetime goals - and we're still moving forward, watching each other grow and supporting each other along the way! I am sure he would agree with me when I say Mereki was a huge part of the Goldroom success - and even tho she has moved on to work on her solo career she is still part of the soul that is and will always will be Goldroom. This version of "Embrace" featuring George Maple has thrown me for a loop just a bit - not that it's not amazing because she is amazing and the song is undeniably awesome, I'm just used to Mereki! There is something so familiar about her voice, it's what we fell in love with!

However, after listening to the George Maple version, I get it!  "Embrace" was actually written with her and for her, so it's like this track has finally been given the chance to reach it's full potential. This is how Goldroom envisioned "Embrace" to be .... and it's just as amazing as ever.  George Maple's sultry vocals have made this more than just a poolside summertime dance hit, she's brought maturity and deeper feeling, she's brought out the sadness and emotion within the words  - she's made it a love song!!   The power of music is like nothing else, and after multiple listens over the past 24 hours - I am more in love with this song than I ever have ever been. I'm sure Mr. Goldroom is quietly giggling over my words right now, and I am pretty sure this is the most I have ever had to say about anything on this blog -- but well done sir, and thank you, and love you most!

HUMAN MOVEMENT - STRANGER

Human Movement dropped a new original track this morning, and we are loving it! This Aussie duo has been buzzing within the inner circle of electronic music blogger nerds and indie industry buffs - we see what's going on and are waiting for the public to catch up. It's always a pleasure to see family starting to make creative waves -- and our friend Mahalo is doing just that! Part of our Take 2 Entertainment team (our partners in LA), this fresh Los Angeles producer released his next single today, and he's not messing around! "Noxious" is a powerful hard hitting dance floor groove, nothing too nice here kids -- just pure seep house sexiness and some serious dance beats! I wanted to ease into the afternoon with hella vibes, and guess what ..... got it!! Our young friend filous has just released his first original track "How Hard I Try ft. James Hersey"  and it's brilliant. We have been keeping a close eye on this Austrian teen, he's sort of dazzling and definitely making his mark with this first rodeo -- we expect many more to come! Today is turning into such a great music release day, I has hoping to stay in a sleepy grumpy mood at least until lunch, because Monday ... However, looks like that will be impossible due to this riiiiight here!  One of my favorite Germain producers Final DJs has dropped a new track and it is simply disco-licious! ATLAS BOUND - LANDED ON MARS

This might be a little too cool and indie for many people, but not for the Beautiful Buzzz team!! We are wild about Atlas Bound!!  This Australian born, LA livin' electronic duo are writing some pretty amazing jams - it's exciting to watch them grow! Their new track "Landed On Mars"  is filled with dark undertones and chill vibes which I am so loving! It's really really great - get into this kids!

What a surprise!!  Usually I have a pretty good idea of the weeks coming releases - but once in a while I get gifted, and what better artist for this to happen with today than Gigamesh? So happy right now!  When I started to listen to electronic and nu-disco music - Gigamesh was one of those artists I stumbled across and instantly fell in love with.  His new track "The Music" is the perfect groove - and in typical Gigamesh fashion - it's disco dance flavored beats bring us up to the next level - on and off the dance floor.  You can grab this one as a free download!
