THANDI PHOENIX - UNRAVELLING (PROD. ARONA MANE)

Oooh I've been looking for some sultry jams to come out and boy have I found the one. This tune from Sydney native Thandi Phoenix produced by Arona Mane is just a whole lot of good. Soulful, intelligently musical, emotional and bassy, Arona flows the beat around Thandi's incredible voice while also bringing in trumpets, upright bass and light synth work to make "Unravelling" a steamy lounge dance hit. WDL - HURRICANE HIGHLIFE FT. MAWE

OK so y'all - I am so freaking excited for this I can hardly contain myself. THIS is what my 2016 is gonna be all about!  Every year a handful of artists get under my skin and attach themselves to my soul, and WDL is going to sit at the top of that short list of brilliant music makers.  From the first time I heard WLD a few years back I knew we were meant for each other!  Yesterday he released his second track "Hurricane Highlife ft. Mawe" from forthcoming album No Wings Airline and I am more in love with WDL than I've ever been. This is sonic heaven, electronic dance pop with serious feels of epic proportions - it's so good I am sorta lost for words.  I've been lucky enough to get a preview of the new album, and it's everything ...... so guys ..... listen and love!   

DR. FRESCH X ANDREW LUCE - HIT IT FROM THE BACK

Dude it's been such an exciting day for us at BB. Releasing the first BUZZZMIX of the year courtesy of Young Bombs, a new Penguin Prison show announcement, AND NOW that nu nu FRESCH record! Dr. Fresch and Andrew Luce have done something really unique with this track. It starts very cinematic with drum hits and string pads eventually building us into a minimal yet spicy af trap drop that straight just comes out of nowhere. At first I was listening going ok when does it fill out, but then it didn't and I was almost more satisfied that it didn't. We're brought back down into a kind of creepy sounding synthy vocal chop melody as we fall into the next drop. The second chorus is more of what I was expecting and it felt soo good. This is the first track off of the Dr.'s Pharmacy Compilation. If you haven't heard the second track "On and On" you need to, so go do it here. Still one more track to go, so we'll be sitting tight ready for the release of "Make It Drop." BUZZZMIX VOL. 19 - YOUNG BOMBS

We are so pleased to be releasing the first BUZZZMIX of 2016, and this one is pure fire!  Recently we've been getting to know this fresh Canadian electronic house duo Young Bombs, and gotta say we are definitely picking up everything they are putting down!  It started with chatter from their US agent about live shows. and then I began listening to their savory tracks more often, and finally a few months ago they released a remix of "Ocean" by Coasts that totally blew my hair back!  I had to have more Young Bombs ... and I got it!  This new BUZZZMIX is funky deep house disco heaven,  with a ton of edgy vibes and so many lively feels, perfect for any weekend dance party!  The first track is that "Ocean" remix I was talking about, and sets the vibrant tone throughout!  Get into Young Bombs immediately - grab a free download of BUZZZMIX VOL. 19 HERE!

[PREMIERE] LUZCID - EVERYDAY

We've got some serious wake and bass for you this morning!  Sometimes I like to kick things of on the low end, and our next premiere comes from planet in your face, aka Houston!  LUZCID is a young Dubstep/Trap producer who has cleverly described his sound as "Space Music" and "A series of auditory adventures in which the participants completely escape time and space," - sounds pretty good to me! Now living in New York, LUZCID's next track "Everyday" drops today and y'all hold on because it's huge!  It's always exciting to feature an artist we've not talked about in the past, and I see great things happening with LUZCID in the months to come, so keep your ears open!  You can grab this bad boy as a free download HERE!   

LINCOLN JESSER - BABY BOY FEAT. YUNA

Tuesday here we come! The homie Lincoln Jesser has been throwing jams down track after track. Rocking the Hype Machine charts with a collab with Elephante, a remix for Carnage, and a killer single in "In My Place," Lincoln is primed for a fantastic 2016. He usually lends his own vocals to his records, but for "Baby Boy" he's enlisted the help of the silky smooth pipes of Malaysian superstar Yuna. This record is equal parts chill, but yet still very danceable. The chorus features a synth line that bends as it flirts around the melody accompanied by tropical sounds and vocal chops. ADAM K & SLANDER - BREATHE

Dude - every 10 minutes I am being handed another awesome track that has dropped today - I feel like it's Friday, or like how release day Tuesday used to be! This new collab between Adam K & Slander is on point.  This has all kinds of awesome big sounds that we love from Slander - that "Heaven Trap" feel that they have so brilliantly perfected .... ugh it's so so so good!  The airy vocals on this one crush!  Slander is hitting the road soon on their Breathe Tour, and I think I'll definitely be chillin with these legends in SF! GRYFFIN - HEADING HOME FT. JOSEF SALVAT

What a fun day we are having!  This tho, has topped our cake of indie dance dreams, and Gryffin has finally released this first original "Heading Home ft. Josef Salvat" and we are totally in love! This New York producer might just be the biggest thing of 2016 - all I hear people talking about is Gryffin this and Gryffin that - totally deserved! I kind of smile and think, yea well ..... I was emailing this kid a year and a half ago for hangs -- which we never got to do, but sooooooon enough!  Deep house indie dance feels all over this one, and the vocals by Josef Salvat are so whimsical - everything is on point!  I'm so excited for all the delicious things to come from this legend and live shows and festivals .... all the tings!!  S0 kick back and let the vibes soak in!
