BUZZZMIX VOL. 21 - STELOUSE

Just a few days ago I had the pleasure of finally meeting and hanging with StéLouse - he rolled into town to play a Super Bowl party that he actually ended up not playing - it's a long story! None the less we had a great night with a fancy dinner, told funny stories that made us giggle, and I impressed him with my aggressive female driving + parking!  We even made up a new StéLouse track all DJ Khaled style, and I'm telling you - it's gonna be a hit!  It seems like we've been talking about StéLouse quite a bit these days - because everything he puts down is bananas good, and he even made our Best Of 2015 list!  We just included this Denver producer in our Phase One artist announcement for our SXSW show Get Buzzzed, so this new Buzzzmix Vol. 21 has great timing!  StéLouse kept it short but super sweet - his song selection is so on point with all the future feels - so much fire!  Might even be some unreleased tracks mixed in there ..... oh snap!  And (yes it gets better) he's currently on a US tour that Beautiful Buzzz is supporting with the ultimate homie Prince Fox - and you can check to see if they are hitting your city HERE!  So many things, so much good, so much love!

[PREMIERE] SAINT WKND X MIDWAY - SET IT OUT

Yess brand spanking new Saint WKND! We've been waiting for a new track from the German youngster and here it is! I had to do a little google search to find out more about Midway, what a find! I love it when DJ's dig up old cuts straight out of 1984 and breathe new life into them. Midway's soulful vocals soar above Saint WKND's grooving disco sounds leading to a driving drop full of funky piano like synths, and of course the amazing tropical steel drums! Primed to take on 2016 it sounds like Saint WKND's got even more up his sleeve with a new EP on the way soon. [PREMIERE] CHRISTOFI & FEIN - MARRY YOU ON THE DANCE FLOOR

Alright y'all - it's almost everyone's favorite day of the year!  That day where we can all be loved and love somebody .... and celebrate that love with expensive gifts to validate just how strongly we feel about each other! Oh goodie!!  You might have detected the underlying layer of sarcasm there - I in fact hate Valentine's Day and refuse to celebrate it, but that does not mean you can't! If you're thinking about what to give your loved one this year, how about the gift of music? LA producer Christofi teamed up with FEiN and made this super discolicious track "Marry You On The Dance Floor" and if was your girlfriend, this is what I would want!  I am loving that this track was created when these legends were joking around in the studio coming up with cheesy love song lyrics ... and it evolved into this great nu-disco track that is gonna make you shake what your mama gave you!  Just say "I Do!"  Swoop this as a free download HERE!  

[PREMIERE] MANICS - CHALK

Every once in awhile we get to show some love to a local Bay Area artist, and this next premiere lets us do just that!  Popgang Records founders and San Francisco duo Manics drop their new original track "Chalk" and it's indie dance pop perfection!  We don't get to talk about local artists too often - San Francisco has a great dance music scene, but not so many great dance music artists like LA or NY - so this is a real treat!  When we heard this vibrant track filled with delicious synthy disco beats and catchy pop vocals we were very happy to feature it as a premiere .... it's so so so good!!  You can grab "Chalk" as a free download HERE! NGHTMRE - PRELUDE / BURN OUT

Hey now!  The first two tracks from our boy NGHTMRE's EP have dropped, and gotta say I am pretty excited for this one kids!  NGHTMRE has been a game changer for me and my personal musical journey deeper into bass feels and that booty shaking low-end!  Making our Best Of 2015 list, this LA producer is finally releasing his first official EP via Mad Decent, and from these first two tracks we can tell the next ones will be fire!  BB will be featuring each new tack as they drop in the weeks to come, so keep a look out!  You can download "Prelude" HERE and "Burnout" HERE for a limited time!   

ANNABEL JONES - IOU

Seeing as how it's Super Bowl Sunday and most people will be participating in game day activities, it may be quite on the internets today.  I however, have no desire to do that sports thing and I'm way more interested in listening to scrumptious electro pop and telling you guys about it - and I know there will be some of you out there who feel the same way!  What are sports anyway? Please meet UK pop princess Annabel Jones!  This week she released her first track of 2016 "IOU" that we are 100% loving.  She's one of those uber cool female pop artists who deliver quality grounded music  - there's no bubblegum here kids!  Her gentle vocals cleanly cut through deep electro beats soaked in sexy dance vibes.  So good!  You guys can swoop this on iTunes HERE! 

ILLENIUM - FORTRESS (FT. JONI FATORA)

The last 7 days have been rough for your girl because of life .... the biggest struggle has been finding time .... and let's be real, there is so much amazing music dropping every day that Eric and I have been finding it hard to keep up! That being said - on this Saturday afternoon I am going to try to get to all the things from our homies that we were not able to talk about, starting with this gorgeous track riiiight here!  I've been nerding out over Illenium a whole bunch lately, and his latest original "Fortress ft. Joni Fatora" is awesome!  He nails that larger than life synthed out future sound better than most, with huge beats under light airy vocals - it's so fucking epic! He's definitely becoming one of my top artists of 2016 already ... the BB crush has officially started! Illenium will be dropping his full length album Ashes on Feb 15 - and you can pre-order this masterpiece HERE! This track, however, you can swoop as a free download HERE!    

[PREMIERE] SAM FELDT - BEEN A WHILE

What a treat right here! Sam Feldt destroyed 2015 bringing his deep tropical sensibilities to incredible remixes of Years & Years, Avicii and Icona Pop, not to mention a fantastic original in "Drive You Home." Well now BB has the pleasure of premiering Sam's first original of 2016 "Been A While!" I love that Sam has continued to involve live instrumentation into his mixes and this record, much like his previous original release "Drive You Home," showcases the trumpet. "Been A While" has a very endearing personality to it, keeping things light with the guitar melody and subtle bass. This allows the track to be chill, but definitely not too serious as shown by the pitched up vocals and whistling. A feel good tune through and through, Sam has delivered a sense of comfort with this record once again stretching the boundaries of modern dance music. I truly feel this record has massive main stream cross over potential given its almost folk like resemblance and charming appeal. What a great way to pick up your day! Out tomorrow February 5th on Spinnin' Deep.
