JAUZ x NETSKY - HIGHER (ORIGINAL MIX)

Los Angeles producer Jauz has arrived! This is awesome for many reasons, I love starting off the day with tracks like this! First, this combo of music makers is on point! We kinda feel like we were around when young PLS&TY was born, and have supported pretty much everything he put into the world over the past year.  Also I had multiple people send me this track, which only means industry is getting behind this LA producer to make some big moves! Then there is my girl MOONZz! We got to hug on each other last week at SXSW (don't be jelly) and be all girly and such as .... so much fun to finally meet her in person and .... TRACE - HONEY

Happy hump day! Following up on the excellent release of our next BuzzzMix Vol 24 by Palastic, I'm going to chill you back down with a really endearing track by LA newcomer Trace. With this only her second release she's found a longing sound that drowns you in mellifluous waterfalls of ambiance and space. Her voice wraps around minimalistic beats with reverb piano combining into a track that is really as sweet as "Honey." We expect lots more good to come from this camp, better get on the bandwagon now! You can nab this on iTunes here.

BUZZZMIX VOL. 24 - PALASTIC

Our favorite thing to do here at Beautiful Buzzz is expose all you amazing people in the world who actually read this blog to fresh up-and-coming artists we think need to be on your radar. Today's Buzzzmix Vol. 24 does just that! We were recently introduced to PALASTIC from an awesome filous remix they put out a last month.  We are huge filous supporters, and once we found out PALASTIC was also from Vienna making the same kind of super viby jams, we were hooked right away! Vienna is an infamous city of music, creating some of the first rock stars the world has ever known .... like Schubert, Strauss, and Mozart ... pretty impressive!! When you walk down her streets you can feel the energy of these greats resonating throughout ... at least I did! I imagine it's a fantastic place to create music, and it reflects in this carefully curated Buzzzmix.  This duo has captured that feeling of summertime sunsets and late night dancefloor grooves for all the feels! ATLAS BOUND - LULLABY

We out here SXSW! This week is really hard to keep up with the blog game because we are running a 4 day and 4 night show - but this new Atlas Bound track just dropped and I made the executive decision to take a few minutes and throw this one up!  It's bomb! [PREMIERE] GIGAMESH - CONTROL (FEAT. CAROLINE SMITH)

Gigamesh is the the man, I mean seriously. Everything he has put out is pure fire! We lit up with joy when we got this track sent to our inbox. Even though we're literally in the middle of setting up for our Get Buzzzed SXSW showcase we jumped at the opportunity to premiere this new single. "Control" is the penultimate discoliscious concoction of electronic heaven! Funky guitars, groovy bass, swelling synths, melodic stabs pretty much everything you want in a total jam. Oh and let's not forget Caroline Smith's vivacious vocals taking absolute "Control" of this record. [PREMIERE] ENSCHWAY x LOLO BX - COUNTING ON YOU

We are finally in Austin! As I sit in my venue working, it's definitely the calm before the storm in so many ways!  In just a few days this place is going to be bananas - and to our delight the Hebinomichi showcase on Saturday is right across the street from ours, so there will be so much hangs with fam .... it's gonna be lit af! Today we are psyched to premiere the next track from the Heminomichi collective - Enschway x LOLO BX drop this siiiiick original "Counting On You" for a Monday afternoon delight! Loaded with glitchy beats and future bass feels - this one just set the tone for the day at 10! This one is included on the forthcoming Friendschway EP which comes out 3/17 - so swop that up ASAP! 

LOOSID - CLOUDS FT. RAYCE JONES

Ugh .... this is so good!  /ˈlo͞osid/ always seems to drop the sickest tracks at the perfect time - I've actually had this one on repeat for the last few days, and only just now getting around to posting on BB.  We've been watching this young producer grow over the past year, and we've pretty much loved all things he's put into the world.  This new original "Clouds ft. Rayce Jones" is a brilliant combination of deep bass future feels with angelic like soulful vocals over synthy melodies - yes please!! You guys can swoop this one from iTunes HERE!

In anticipation for this epic event we want you to get to know a few of our fantastic artists. Without further ado we present another chapter of...

THE GET BUZZZED ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: XYLØ

Q1. How old were you when you first started making music? When did it become serious?

I didn't start taking music seriously till I was 18 when I started working with Chase. - Paige

I was very young. Our grandfather is a jazz drummer and studio percussionist, he had me on his lap at the drum set since the day I could hold sticks. He gave me one of his drums kits when I was about 9. I remember playing to CDs like Rage Against the Machine, Weezer, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, Jackson 5, Earth Wind and Fire, Toto, Led Zeppelin.. I had played my first show at 10 and had my first recording session experience at 11 at Capitol Records. At this point I was hooked. I was strictly a drummer until my early 20’s when I got my first laptop and protools. This opened my world up to the possibilities of making music on my own. I eventually got into co-writing songs with artists and making a living getting my songs licensed in commercials and tv shows as well as composing music for adverts and major brands campaigns. This is what lead to Paige and I working together and creating XYLØ. I had asked her to work on a project with me for a brand and our chemistry excited me. Things just seemed to click. Things moved really fast and I ended up dedicated all of my time just to XYLØ. - Chase

Q2. Whether it’s a remix or an original, what is the first step you take when writing a track?

Sometimes it can be different, but usually I start out with chords on the piano and a rough beat. Then melodies ideas. And some ear candy stuff for vibe. Once this is down I feel like this helps with what the lyrics are going to say. The music almost speaks first and tells you what needs to be said and what the songs going to be about. - Chase

Q3. What is one of the best moments you've had so far in your career?

Hearing Zane Lowe premier our song Afterlife was a unforgettable moment. Besides that I think XYLØ in general to me has been the highlight of my musical struggle and journey. This is my baby and it's incredible to see the response we've got so far. I think it's amazing that I get to share this together with my little sister. - Chase

Q4. What is another BUZZZworthy artist that inspires you and why?

Chaos Chaos ‘Do you Feel it’. I really like the sounds and the production. Nice voices. - Chase

Q5. Of all of your releases, which one is your favorite and why?

America just because it was the first song we released a year ago and it's what started it all basically for us. Not knowing what to expect and then hearing it on the radio and #1 on Hype Machine was really exciting. - Chase 

L.A Love Song is probably my favorite because I love singing that song live. We were suppose to release a different song originally and then last minute we wrote this one and we were like “ we need to put this out asap” - Paige
