JAHKOY - ALL OF YOU

Gonna keep things chill here with another one of our Get Buzzzed Austin SXSW alumni JAHKOY. Produced by "Mighty" Mike McGarity of Kolaj, "all of You" is a sun soaked ballad that's as smooth as the spring breeze that's been sweeping over LA the last couple days. Piano driven with minimal drumming and bass with smatterings of guitar, JAHKOY shines over the track once again showing us his vocal prowess. The falsetto chorus hook "All of You" is deeply infectious and sparks this track off! As a treat we've also been given this as a free download so nab that here!

BLUBIRD - WAKE UP

Ahh back to the grind. If you're feeling a bit of the Mon-daze that I am then you are really going to appreciate this one from London via Slovenia based BluBird. "Wake Up" is an energetic upbeat feel good record that is totally wiping the sleep from my eyes. A deep kick, synth stabs and claps accompany a fun guitar line filling in the instrumental underneath a relaxing female voice urging us to "Wake Up! Sun is shining for you!" OTERO - WAITING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU

It's not every day I come across a producer from Caracas, and I just happen to stumble upon this one by accident really!  It's one of those times I read the book by it's cover - I loved the artwork so I decided to listen! Wow! I've just found my new favorite thing this week - and it's Otero! This new track is so on point with it's obscure vocals over heady future beats - it's bananas good! Grab a free download HERE!

TWIN WAVE - MATADOR

With us walking up the doorsteps to Coachella, South By merely moments ago and festival season completely upon us, it's hard not to walk around with a smile. For music lovers we have reached the mecca of musical paradise: Spring and Summer are finally here! This new track by Twin Wave has exactly the kind of upbeat energy that I'm vibing with hard right now. Sunny bright guitar, a quick rhythm and a totally infectious chorus vocal hook that fills out the instrumental with ease. The Brooklyn based trio has been honing their sound since 2013, but have found a great stride with this new dream pop sound. They cite it lies somewhere between the likes of Future Islands and the Police and I couldn't agree more. I'm excited to hear more from this trio, consider me officially on board the bandwagon!

KOLAJ - THE TOUCH

I'm having a little case of the Mon-daze today still reeling from our epic show Friday night with Goldroom. In typical fashion I'm turning to music to pull me out of my funk and get me back on the up and up, and this new track by electronic pop duo KOLAJ is just the thing. Sea breeze guitar, tropical sounds and energetic bass combine to fill out the comforting instrumental underneath lead singer Teesa's wonderful vocals. KOLAJ has been releasing some really fantastic music recently. Their previous single "100 Degrees" has been a favorite since it came out and "The Touch" really follows suit.

BOOM! Can I just say that this individual coming into my life this year has been so ficking awesome - like for real! It's only April and already we've had multiple hangs and super fun adventures with this Denver based producer SteLouse, and he's just brilliant! His tracks .... sick! His live sets .... sick! He keep blowing me away with this unbreakable talent and sweet disposition ... we just get each other! Tomorrow night SteLouse is gonna crush with Prince Fox at the Closed Sessions party in DC - if you are in that area I highly suggest getting out to this show! Our boy SteLouse made a little mix for our Closed Sessions homies - I suggest you get into this one! 

LIDO - CRAZY

When Lido dropped the video for this track yesterday, my FB feed was full of all my industry homies sharing the link and saying things like "we're all inferior" or "we're not worthy" and I think I am gonna have to agree with the masses on this one. With sexy future beats filled with R&B vibes and big bass tribal like beats - this is hands down one of the best tracks of the year thus far! Lido has set the bar high y'all - I'm swooning! 

LE YOUTH - BOOMERANG (FT. TAY BECKHAM)

Anyday my BFF Le Youth releases a new track is always the best day ever - so even tho it's early and I've only been awake for 10 minutes, I'm beaming with joy! Me and this little muffin have been through it together - watching each other grow and giving love and support along the way, and I think he's one of the most talented and amazing humans on the planet!  It's been a minute since we've heard a new original from this Los Angeles producer, and this new funky disco track "Boomerang ft. Tay Beckham" has a bright and bouncy groove with that signature Le Youth flavor. This one is going to set that dance floor on fire! [NEW TOUR] JERRY FOLK - NORTH AMERICA TOUR

Another amazing tour announcement, BB is getting behind all the dope shit lately ... we don't mind tho....  I was lucky to see the Jerry Folk US debut a few months back in San Francisco, so supporting this tour is a bonus as far as I am concerned!  On his first North American tour he'll be hitting Coachella as well as a few dates in Canada - pretty exciting!
