BRASSTRACKS - GOOD LOVE FT. JAY PRINCE

Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

I am so about this funky vibe on this early chilly Monday morning - it's the perfect way to start of the day! We kinda go bananas over Brasstracks - the genres they are crossing to create a fantastic new breed of electronic music is creative and ground breaking, and this new track "Good Love ft. Jay Prince" raises the bar! Combining funk, jazz, hip-hop, R&B,future and bass - Brasstracks slays this new original! Jay Prince was featured at our SXSW show this year as well, and his smooth funky hip-hop vocals are gold! This one you definitely cannot pass up! Listen and love!

JAI WOLF - DRIVE (FT. CHAIN GANG OF 1974)

Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

Watching Jai Wolf raise to success has been such a pleasure! 2 years ago I was begging the festivals and promotions companies I was buying for to put Jai Wolf on shows - and some followed my lead while others passed! Now he's selling out big rooms across the US! So awesome! This week our homie dropped his next highly anticipated original track "Drive ft. Chain Gang of 1974" and we are swooning! Both artists have played BB shows in the past, so this pairing makes us very happy! Kamtin's vocals resonate with eerie beauty among swirly melodies and future feels - Jai Wolf nailed it once again! This one comes to us via Foreign Family Collective and you can swoop it from iTunes HERE

THROTTLE - MONEY MAKER

Music, Original MixEric1 Comment

OK!! It's time for a track that I have been absolutely stoked to bring to you! From rising disco phenom Throttle comes a total dance floor heater "Money Maker." Bring out the disco balls, light up floors, LED lights, neon bracelets and get ready to boogie cuz this track is a total summer anthem! Throwing spritely feel good piano, horns, funky guitar, groovy bass and of course a James Brown vocal sample from "Get Up (I Feel Like Being A Sex Machine)," Throttle has given us a record that is smash from the second you hit play. Who's ready to party? Because one listen to this jam and the good times quickly flow. Weekend baby...where you at?? Lets rock and roll! You can nab this on Beatport here

WILD CULTURE - NERVOUS FT. DAN MACKENZIE

Music, Original MixEricComment

Wild Culture has recently come into my radar and I'm super happy they have. These Australian's catalogue is full of tasty gems that are quick to put a smile of your face, and "Nervous Ft. Dan Mackenzie" certainly follows suit. Wild Culture, living up to it's namesake, incorporates natural elements into their mixes with "Nervous" featuring smatterings of birds chirping along with whistles, cheery tropical synth sounds, and hip hop oriented rhythms. Don't mistake, Dan Mackenzie's vocals lead the way with this record turning an already endearing tune into a surefire bliss inducing jam!

JAMIE PRADO - SEVEN SEAS

Music, Original MixEricComment

Jamie Prado has the sickest laid back lounge house beats. He's put together a killer two song 'Milk & Honey' EP featuring the delectable "Milk & Honey" and this my favorite "Seven Seas." The record doesn't try and overstep its boundaries, maintaining a true piano laden house vibe with subtle vocal accents and smooth percussion. This EP comes with the launch of PUZL Records a new imprint from our homies over at the Los Angeles Music Project (LAMP). We've come to expect nothing but greatness from LAMP and Jamie Prado's EP is a fitting preamble for the new label. You can get the EP on iTunes here.

DILLON FRANCIS & NGHTMRE - NEED YOU

Music, Original MixEricComment

Well this is a hell of a way to get my Friday started. You may have seen this hit the interwebs yesterday, but I'm still getting buck wild for this collaboration of the most epic proportions! Dillon has firmly secured himself a pretty sweet spot in dance music history and NGHTMRE is quickly on his way to the same at a super young age. "Need You" is a moomba-esque, grimy, dubby concoction with top notch sound design. The decline after the first drop is admirably melodic, something I would expect from these two and the build features a major lazor-esque rasta vocal that turns this track into overdrive. We definitely now have a certified festival anthem primed and ready to go for this summer. Expect to hear this get played...a lot. You can download on iTunes here.

PRINCE FOX - FRAGILE FT. HAILEE STEINFELD

Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

BOOM! For months I have been waiting for the official release of this new Prince Fox original, and finally today is the day! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself! This is my family right here .... artists like Prince Fox are the reason I do what I do! I've been on the journey with him, starting from a bedroom producer passing me tracks through his college roommates to dropping this huge release "Fragile ft. Hailee Steinfeld" which was just premiered on Billboard! I'm so proud and nerding out over this whole thing .... it's such a great day! This track is everything, and Prince Fox has basically created the amazing future pop sound that's bananas good! With synthy future beats over crisp pop melodies and luminous vocals, this will be the best thing you've heard all week! You can swoop this on iTunes HERE!

MRVLZ - HER NAME

Music, Original MixEricComment

I've been slowly ramping up the intensity with my posts today, and I've got a heavy hitter right here from San Jose's MRVLZ (pronounced marvels in case you were wondering). "Her Name" is groovy beast with pumping synth stabs and a killer guitar-like synth solo after the first chorus. The vocal chops fit perfectly with the rhythm and synthwork intricately placed with ease. This is a fun record and I've grooving to it for a couple days now AND you can nab this as a free dl so hit it up!
