DOOQU & ASHDOWN - INCOMPETENT COMPETITIONS

I'm gonna chill things down for a second with a really cool (and cool named) track from Denmark's Dooqu & the UK's Ashdown. "Incompetent Competitions" is an intricate indie electronic record driven by Dooqu's wonderful half full half falsetto vocals. Jazzy piano fill in behind grooving percussion and quick wobbly synths. Smatterings of low bass filter in pumping with harpoon like efficiency. An eclectic lead sound provides some melody that all but wraps up this cool tune. MIJA & VINDATA - BETTER

Oh hi LA - can you be any cooler rn? Honestly fam - shit is lit! This city, and my home town, is churning out the cream of the crop when it comes to the next generation of uber creative and talented producers - can't stand on Hollywood Blvd. and swing a cat without hitting some fresh 20 something beats maker with colored hair! What a brilliant time to be alive, and in the industry. Our favorite little LA woman Mija teamed up with Vindata to make "Better" - a fantastic combination of future feels, hip-hop beats and feel good vibes! This one is all about family, friends, being good to each other, and having a blast while staying positive! Director Ryan Farber made a cool video to go along which you can peep HERE!

K?D - SOMEWHERE FAR AWAY FROM HERE FT. LOLABY

Ugh! k?d is amazing! I only have a few short minutes in my crazy Monday to talk about his new track "Somewhere Far Away From Here Ft. Lolaby" that this young producer just dropped, and gotta say I am loving all the things about it. It's the first original track from our favorite newcomer, and from start to finish it's an incredible track with funky future beats feels for days! k?d pretty can pretty much do no wrong. JERRY FOLK - TAKE THREE

Jerry folk is bae - like ... we brunch and stuff. This young Norwegian producer is full of surprises, and every new track he puts out is something new and brilliant for the world to enjoy. "Take Three" is like sonic heaven, with draggy beats over synthed out glitchy melodies I am pretty much addicted! Now living in Los Angeles, Jerry Folk is about to start his first US tour in a few weeks, and we are psyched to see him in San Francisco once again! TASTY TREAT - WAYWARD EP

Oh hiiii fam! Our boyz TastyTreat dropped their latest Wayward EP via Buygore this week, and shit is tite! We premiered "My Crew ft. Malcolm Anthony" a few weeks back, plus two new tracks "Ascension" and "Struggle ft. Gino Driggs & YLTI" make up this new EP - full of future bass and hip-hop vibes that got me throwing my trap arms! This Los Angeles duo has been dropping such heat over the past year - one dope track after another! KAUF - A RUIN

One of our dearest friends and brilliant artist KAUF is back ... and he's about to drop a magnificent debut album later this year! This dreamy electro synth pop legend produces some of the sexiest tracks around, and his second single "A Ruin" from forthcoming Regrowth is everything! BLAIR - LIQUID COURAGE

Dance pop newcomer Blair is back with a new single, and we are as giddy as a schoolgirl over it! "Liquid Courage" is the second release for this Los Angeles pop artist, following up from big debut track "5 Past 10" - and it does not disappoint!  With crisp vocals and big bouncy melodies, Blair tells us a story of getting a few drinks into your system to loosen up ... and possibly taking things too far! I recently did this a few weeks back - I was nervous and he's so dreamy .... and my attempt to loosen up led to way too intoxicated! Blair keeps it light however, and I am super psyched over this track, and over getting to watch his brilliant artist grow!  

ALEXANDER LEWIS - SO NICE FT. KRNE

These two legends right here give me all the feels! Lately when someone asks me what new future bass artist they should check out I've been dropping Alexander Lewis at the top of that list. He's really got something quite unique going on with that trombone - some people may think it's a gimmick, but I'm pretty sure they are just jelly and wish they could have done it first ... because it's now his signature sound and it's pretty bananas live. WDL - CASHMERE FT. ROADS

I think this might be my most anticipated album of 2016. For the last two years I have been singing praises for Swedish producer WDL - I happen to think he's brilliant and probably going to be gigantic. Every element is there, perfectly placed and beautifully executed. WDL releases his debut album No Wings Airline on June 3, and this next single "Cashmere ft. Roads" is a stunning electro-pop love song that is kinda making me swoon. Roads sweet soulful vocals intertwined among fervent synthy melodies is the stuff that dreams are made of ... it's perfect!
