LEON ELSE FT. OLIVER - THE CITY DON'T CARE

The dreamy British vocalist Leon Else is back with my favorite disco duo from Los Angeles, Oliver, on a retro but new single “The City Don’t Care.” The song will resonate with any big city boy or girl, especially if you’re an Angeleno. Leon writes the record about the loop-set lifestyle of living in LA, and the pairing of the paradise vibe with the “deceiving side of the city,” as he described it. A friend played this for me the other day, and I was dancing in my seat so hard that my pup, Lou, jumped up to check if mommy was okay. We’ll be seeing this name more often, so stay tuned for more!

BUZZZMIX VOL. 39 - PHAM

15 seconds into this I got the goosebumps! Pham has been one of those emerging artists we've been looking after over the past year who's been blowing our minds with his super sexy and soulful tracks. BLU J - SAFE FT. MATTHEW CHAIM

The Blu J boys are back once again with another yummy track, and they continue to impress. I pretty much love everything they put into the world, and 1/2 of this duo lives in my city so we get to do the hangs from time to time. They just dropped their first  original of 2017 "Safe ft. Matthew Chaim" that is packed full of dancy future beats and synthy soulful vocals. We are gonna see quite a few gems from Blu J this year, so keep your eyes and ears open! 

KWON - REFLECTION POOL

You guys want some of that new new? Kwon is just starting to spread his wings, but I think this young new music maker can already fly. This DC producer brought some heat with new original "Reflection Pool" - it's been out for over a week but I feel like it's something we can't over look. With big future feels and strong melodies, this track is stuffed full of synthy sexy beats and strong dance floor vibes - I am feeeeeling this one! Get into Kwon y'all! 

AXEL MANSOOR - WASTED MY LOVE

Yay I'm pumped I get to do this. Let me have the grand honor of introducing you to Axel Mansoor! I've known Axel since we were both in college together, and I'm amazingly happy to hear how awesome this release is. "Wasted My Love" is vibey af in the best possible way. The guitars are swelteringly sensual, and the delays and reverbs set a dreamy soundscape for this longing tune. Axel's falsetto vocals ebb and flow with a catchy chorus that rings out "wasted my love, you wasted my love." As the lyrcism sweeps downward with tenseness so does the chorus melody sink with the weight of the subject matter. We've all been in that situation when a relationship doesn't quite go as planned and you're left wondering if it was all worth it. I hope there's much more downtempo goodness following this tune from Axel, but before we move on lets enjoy the fulfilling vulnerability of this one. You can get this as a free download here.

JUSTIN CARUSO - TALK ABOUT ME (FT. VICTORIA ZARO)

So much good music dropping it's hard out here for a pim...I mean blogger lol. Justin Caruso bubbled into our radar when we premiered his remix of Martin Garrix's banger with Bebe Rexha "In the Name of Love." Well now he's back with his FIRST original "Talk About Me" thats perfect for that sunset drive down the PCH with your bae ridin' shotgun looking cute as hell. Well that's what I'm picturing at least, but the chill-to-bump ratio (i'm gonna copyright that haha) is just right on in this tune. Victoria Zaro's lyrics have bit of bite to them, but the nature of the instrumental offsets the spite of the lyricism just enough to give you room to smile. [PREMIERE] JAY XERO & LONDONBRIDGE - GONNA GO WITH YOU

Some tracks just make you feel good - like eating the most delicious sushi, or having a puppy kiss your face - makes ya feel so so so good! Our next premiere is doing just that, the feel good vibes are strong and I'm thinking I'll be jamming this one allll day! New York producer Jay xero teamed up with LA Legend and Space Yacht co-founder LondonBridge on "Gonna Go With You" and asked me to show the world .... well, at least show all you BB readers!  Ha! It's bouncy fun sound is making me long for late summer nights out on the town with my crew hitting a show and hitting that bottle! Jay xero says this is “a tune about fleeting, wordless love… and the healing powers of touch." Swoon! Get into this one fam!

LIPLESS FEAT. GABRIELLE CURRENT - STICKS & STONES

I'm gonna get loosey goosey house vibes for a second with this chiller of a tune from the mysterious producer Lipless. We don't know much about this dude except that he got a grammy...yes a grammy nomination with none other than Kaskade. "Sticks & Stones" just burrows forward with ease as Gabrielle Current's flowery vocals should toss you up into a bed of clouds.
