I never personally met this legend, but from what I have been told and the impact his sudden death has had on our community, he was one amazing human. Well ... just gonna say that the homies TastyTreat might have outdone themselves with this new one. Not only does this Los Angeles duo create some of the siiickest future bass jams around, they can also bring all the sexy time feels - and I am 100% swooning over this next premiere. "Sideways ft. Marco Foster" is a soulful R&B soaked slowjam that is gonna have you feeling some kind of way! Marco Foster's vocals are a sultry cry for love, layered thick with 10 levels of smoothness. [PREMIERE] HOODBOI - CLOSER FT. ASTR (KENDE REMIX)

I am loving the B Side releases for remix EPs that have started to become a trend as of late! Mostly they are versions that did not make the EP, but were just too good to ignore. I imagine it has to be pretty tough narrowing down which remixes are officially released, etc - there are so many super talented producers making great music, and with all the politics this industry contains ... glad it's not my job to make the call. Today's premiere is from a brilliant young newcomer Kende with his fresh flip of "Closer Ft. ASTR" by Hoodboi. This Swiss producer has layered light glitchy beats over big builds and sick vocal drops for so many future feels - I'm kinda obsessed with this one! [PREMIERE] MAHALO - CATCH MY EYE + HEARTBEAT EP

Well we've seen Mahalo making big strides in the last year, grinding putting out a lot of tracks, really finding the flavor of his nu-disco influenced house. Happy to say we've been on this train since the first stop. Today I have the pleasure of premiering Mahalo's latest "Catch My Eye." The track has bits of tropical themed influences, but with a distinctly nu-disco flare. It's repping flanging guitar, 80's-esque breaks, pads and drumming all wrapped up with the soulful vocals that totally caught our ears. "Catch My Eye" comes as the second single off of his 'Heartbeat EP' courtesy of the UK's Sleazy Deep label. The EP features another amazing single "Heartbeat" I had to throw in to this post as well, along with Rob Made's sexy remix of "Heartbeat" and Mutiny UK's Bongoloid Dub rework of "Catch My Eye." This is such a fantastic song - Los Angeles duo RKCB crushed in all the right ways. We have seen some pretty great remixes follow, and our next premiere is tops! Newcomer Nikö Blank puts his future feels spin on "Elevated" for an edgy splurge of vibes. This kid has skills, and he's just getting started! He took this track to the next level with big bassy builds and sexy beats under awesome R&B vocals ... it's exactly what I needed on this Monday morning! Nikö Blank is going to be your favorite new producer. I have something brand spanking new today for our next premiere, and gotta say I am pretty psyched about it! Brooklyn based rapper turned producer Element has a fresh new original track that is 100% delicious! "Can't Have You ft. Elieen Young" tells that oh-so-familiar tail of not being able to be with that someone special - it's like the story of my life! We've seen a number of remixes of this track over the past few months - as we should the original is tite! Most of them have been really great, but our homie Grimecraft just won us over with this next premiere! This Bay Area producer calls his style "video game bangers" which I think is brilliant, and he puts his cherry future bass sounds all over "Thief" by Ookay that's full of glitchy beats and lush melodies -- nailed it! When Malcolm Anthony walked into my production office at SXSW earlier this year - I instantly knew we would be homies. This Los Angeles rapper has more kind vibes then most, and I'm psyched to premiere his next original track "Hooked" produced by Garrett Lodge. Malcolm has a smooth laid back style and this new tune is full of sexy grooves soaked in summertime feels.
