One of the highlights of my year was meeting this sweet lady Eau Claire at WMC - and we girled out together .... as we should because it's so much fun!  Since then she has been making some pretty big moves and i am just over the moon happy for her!  Girl power!  Today she's letting us hear her awesome new remix of "Metaphysical" by Autograf - and OMG is so so so good!  I love her sexy easy going style, this is some tasty disco house feels!  Listen and love! 

FRENCH HORN REBELLION - PLAY YOUR PART FT. SPENCER LUDWIG (LEFTI REMIX)

One thing I have heard a lot of chatter about lately is LEFTI -- seems like he is on the industry radar and I am hearing very positive things!  So, when I saw this remix of "Play Your Part ft. Spencer Ludwig" by our love French Horn Rebellion - I knew I was ready for a funky disco house treat!  Got it!!  LEFTI is so shinny and new, I'm thinking 2016 we are gonna see big moves from this awesome producer, so keep your ears open and dance!!

Plastic Plates has been very busy - the past few months he's been killing the remix game. Friday!  And what!!  While all you kiddies prepare for your weekend adventures, I have this new track that will definitely kick start your fun times into over drive!  Cherney is a young up-and-coming producer that I kinda just went ga ga over after listening to his new remix of "Dreamcatcher ft. Dan Henig" by Sokko & Lyons x Focus.  His production is crisp af - nothing but pretty things coming through my headphones!  This is kinda an epic sounding festival jam -- I can picture a crowd losing their minds when this one hits --  with deep future dance feels under brilliant soulful vocals ... shit is on point!.  Loving this!!  Cherney is giving this out as a free download so, swoop it up HERE y'all!  

[PREMIERE] LISTENBEE - NOTTAMUN TOWN (MAHALO REMIX)

Oh we're super pumped for this! Our homie Mahalo is back with a fantastic new remix for us after coming off of his breakthrough first EP release on Sleazy Deep Records. This time Mahalo brings his smooth Hawaiian groovy beats to re-work Listenbee's horn laden single "Nottamun Town" (here the original here). Perfect for an afterparty or an early morning commute, Mahalo brings the energy of a dance track, but yet somehow still keeps it chill enough for the island breeze. This track bends the original's vocals around a great synth guitar line with smatterings of arpeggiated melodies and groovy bass with even some whistling! It's available on Spotify as well here.

ELEPHANTE - AGE OF INNOCENCE (JENAUX REMIX)

I'm getting real funky today thanks to my previous post about future funk master GRiZ and now Jenaux. I love how this is tagged on Soundcloud, #BIG ROOM FUNK because that pretty much describes this sound perfectly. I'm bummed I somehow didn't get around to supporting Elephante's amazing original back when it was first released about a month ago (check out the original here), but onto Jenaux's re-work. This track starts off mellow with enveloping pads under the vocals, but it quickly turns up with a funky guitar line that takes us to a snappy drum beat. An 80's tom fill later we're swung into a throw-your-hands-in-the-air and jump kind of chorus with a super catchy vocal chop on top of a progressive style bass line. Jenaux killed this remix and much to our delight it's another Free Download!     

COSMO'S MIDNIGHT - WALK WITH ME FT. KUCKA (KOA REMIX)

I have so much work to do today, I don't even know where to start.  Basically I am a slave to my passion for this music stuff.....  Could be worse I guess, I could be working at Starbucks!  That being said, I'm all about the easy going feel good groove vibes today, so here's something that is just right!  Mysterious Future Classic super group KOA remix "Walk With Me" Featuring KUČKA by Australian twin brother duo Cosmo's Midnight.  All the feels!  Last week these legends released their Moments EP, which is fabulous and can be swooped from iTunes HERE! Brilliant! Listen and love! 

A FINE WAY TO DIE (GRIZ REMIX)

GRiZ has consistently put out some incredible music release after release, and on top of that I think he might have one of the funnest live shows in the industry. If you haven't had a chance to see GRiZ live then go look up his tour schedule and pick a date trust me! So naturally I was pretty pumped when I saw a new GRiZ track pop up on my Soundcloud stream and ooh it's on point. Horny, bassy, soulful and funk-a-licious "A Fine Way to Die" has blues guitars and bongos and GRiZ's signature horn section all combined with some gritty bass. About 4:30 in we're treated to an orgasmic sax breakdown that takes us high up in the clouds and then we're thrust back down and built up for the home stretch. This song is soo good anddd oh yeah Free Download baby.  

COASTS - OCEANS (YOUNG BOMBS REMIX)

I've been a huge fan of this band Coasts for some time now, and even booked them on a festival I was buying for in 2014 but their visas could not be sorted - super bummer!  And this track, OMG I love it so much!  So when Young Bombs passed me their new remix of "Oceans" I kinda did a little happy dance!  This Vancouver based production duo put their deep house disco spin on this indie pop track, and I am loving it!  Shake your bootay!!!
