TEFLON SEGA - BERETTA LAKE FEAT. SAINT JHN (LISTEN2LIRI REMIX)

Five months ago, Teflon Sega collaborated with rapper SAINt JHN to release a "bizzare&b" single- "Beretta Lake." As his single continues to top charts and impress critics, Teflon Sega is handing off the track to other talented producers to further capitalize on its artistic success. Just four days ago, Listen2Liri accepted the role of fearlessly flipping it into a ethereal remix. Although the three artists involved in this particular remix didn't work together on the original release of "Baretta Lake," the synergy of the trio is unstoppable. With beautiful transitions, this hazy flip is truly something out of a dream- taking you somewhere very, very far out. "Beretta Lake" is riddled with poetry far beyond its jarring lyricism- it is a musical prose that blossoms with every note. Part of me wants to add it to my "sad girl, rainy day" playlist, while a more optimistic part of me wants to add it to my "dancing with no pants on, with a bottle of a wine" playlist. Simply put, it's a song for many occasions- both euphoric and melancholic. With this remix, Listen2Liri exceeded expectations and executed his take on an already brilliant single. Well .... the BLU J boys are on a non-stop roll! It seems like every other week this production duo is releasing a new track, and they are all pretty great! Our second premiere of the day is BLU J's remix of "Matter" by Shallows, and I am so feeling this one. With it's dark techno vibes and 80's synth undertones, they've touched that new wave passion that resides deep in my heart. Big moves guys ... it's been such a blast watching these yung legends grow! Can't wait to hear whats next!

WOW! Can Medasin be any more amazing? Honestly, in my opinion he's been one of the most exciting newcomers this year. This Dallas producer has taken "Feel It Still" by Protugal. The Man and flipped it into the most sexy mix I have heard all week! Medasin piles on thick layers of soulful vibes with slow bass beats and light melodies topped off with easy going vocals .... this is lazy summertime lovin' feels for days! We were lucky enough to feature Medasin at our SXSW show this year in Austin, and his live shows live up to all the hype! Get into this one kids!

LOST KINGS - QUIT YOU FT. TINASHE (JUSTICE SKOLNIK REMIX)

Seriously .... it's nap time! I've been buried in artwork and web design today, and now I'm looking for a little pick me up to get me through the next few hours of work.  At times like these I reach for the pop music tracks, because what better way to liven things up with their feel good vibe! Alexander Lewis is no stranger to us here at BB - after crushing his set at our SXSW show this past March, we pretty much think he's the bee's knees ... we are psyched for this next premiere! This LA producer is making waves with this hard hitting tracks and original sound - it's not very often you get to see a producer on stage crushing with a trombone! I love it so much I can't even deal sometimes. Alexander Lewis lays his thick bass vibes all over this trombone flip of "Charge" by Kaaris ... and hold onto your hats because this one is gonna blow your hair back! TERROR SQUAD - LEAN BACK (NGHTMRE REMIX)

Happy Mother's day to all the mommy's out there! Today I'm hanging out with my family, and it's a beautiful day in Northern California! Birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and my Mom is currently head bobbing to this new NGHTMRE track and I think it's hilarious. She's definitely not a hip-hop fan, but she has good taste and when she hears a beat she likes she'll do some booty shakin' for sure! Our boy NGHTMRE got his hands on "Lean Back" by Terror Squad and flipped it into this delicious Trap dance floor heater - and hey .... if it can get my mom boppin' around then it has to be good!
