Australia - it has been a minute since I visited your music shores....and now I am happy to hear the new single from Dappled Cities!!   "Run With The Wind" is the first new music from this Sydney based band in 3 years, and from the sound of things, we can expect more gret music in the near future!

I often go back and forth between Canada, the UK, and Australia on which country has the best music coming out right now, and then I hear a song like this and say to myself....Australia, of course it's the best!!

I'm not sure why I love this so much....but I do!   Great song!   Kinbra is amazing at everything she does, I have been raving about her for well over a year now as the most kick ass chick ever..she rules. The video is great, however I got bummed when it all turned out to be a Converse commercial at the end...took so much of the artistic integrity away, shame.   Maybe watching Mark Foster get his ass kicked is what did it for me....who knows!   Love it!!

This song is perfection....dreamy perfection from start to finish!   I have been totally blown away by this band, and it's only been a week since I learned about Mafia Lights, and they only have 2 songs released!   I mean it, this is as good as it gets for me, I feel like I am floating in synth heaven!   It does not always have to be a dance hit....really.....

They have already made my best of 2012 list....for sure!!

Yesterday my friends Gliss released their new song "Weight Of Love" - and it is a must have!   Based out of Los Angeles, this band has been impressing people all over the world for a few years now, and they are about to drop a new album that I am very excited about!   Maybe I am so excited because it was mixed here by my boss, and I was able to listen to the process and hang with the band for days and days and days!

NEW MUSIC: JETHRO FOX - ECHO

Jethro Fox has just released his next single "Echo" - and of course I love it!   Recently I have found many artists I really love coming out of Liverpool, UK - and I have been watching what Jethro Fox has been doing for some time now.  

This new tune is great, and even tho he has yet to explode onto the international scene, I have high hopes for him - and he is just a sweetheart to boot!   I also included his first single "Before" for your listening pleasure! 

VIVA BROTHER CALL IT QUITS?

Viva Brother have announced via twitter today that they are breaking up!   This is a very interesting day to announce something like that, considering it is April Fools Day!   However, a spokes person for the band has confirmed that yea, they are in fact, calling it quits and this is not a joke.

Really??

Later they posted that they wanted to leave us with one last song called "I Don't Want To Be Loved" and then posted a video link....

This is such a bummer - I feel like this band was just starting to get it's legs.   They formed in 2010 and released an album that did rather well in the UK, and I saw them live in LA - which was great and they were just sweethearts, really cool guys.   I don't know....this seems too random for this day!

I call bullshit!  They just finished recording their second album and to me, this seems like a great way for people to hear their new single!!

April Fools Day drives me nuts!
