NEW VIDEO: THE PRESETS - GHOSTS

A few weeks back The Presets released this new single "Ghosts"​ along with a video of a sunrise.  This is the new official video, and I think it is absolutely beautiful.  The sea shanty-inspired techno-pop track is accompanied by a beautifully shot, black and white meditation on athleticism directed by Abteen Bagheri.  

The "Ghosts" remix bundle, with edits by DJ Spinn, Fort Romeau, Adrian Lux, and Hermitude, will be available digitally in the US on September 25.  Pacifica, the new record from The Presets, will be out digitally September 10 & physically 11 via Modular.

NEW MUSIC: EVERYTHING EVERYTHING - COUGH COUGH

Manchester UK based band Everything Everything are gearing up for round two.  Yesterday they released their comeback single "Cough Cough" on Radio 1 in the UK, and from what I can hear - there will be no worrying about the second album slump because this single is on fire!  "Cough Cough" will be released on October 15 via Sony RCA and the full length album Arc will be released sometime in January 2013.  I just love a good British band....don't you?

NEW MUSIC: ASTRO - ASTRO (US RELEASE)

Sometimes we Americans get the short end of the stick - seeing as how great music is released in other countries and many times it takes forever to be released in the states!  Good news for us today however!!  Astro's self titled album is officially out in the US of A and can be downloaded exclusively on iTunes HERE!​

I have been in love with Astro ever since the day I heard "Coco" on a random Latin American radio show - I just think they are fantastic, and I am stoked that I can finally buy their music in the US.  The whole album is great, so show the band from Santiago, Chil​e some American love and buy it!

NEW MUSIC: NO - WHAT'S YOUR NAME / ELEVEN ELEVEN

I can not even express how excited I am about Los Angeles based band NO!  A few weeks back I went on and on about their new songs I saw live at The Satellite - and today they give us a tease of what's to come with two new songs!  What's Your Name / Eleven Eleven ​7" was released today via White Iris Records.  Wanna pick up a copy?  For vinyl go HERE and for digital go HERE!

NEW VIDEO: VAN SHE - JAMAICA

Van She is back with a new video!  Yay!  Another amazing Aussie band......you can't swing a cat without hitting one!  I just saw some US dates come up on Twitter......can't wait to see a live show!  This video is for "Jamaica", the second single off Van She's Idea of Happiness,  out now via Modular.​

NEW MUSIC: LOVELIFE - EL REGRESO' EP (FREE DOWNLOAD)

Last week Brooklyn-based duo Lovelife released their debut El Regreso EP, available now for free download!  In addition to the 6-track EP, the download includes hand written lyrics for each song as well as the original album artwork.

Formed earlier this year, Lovelife is the collaboration of Ally Young and Lee Newell's R&B filtered synth pop, taking cues from the likes of Frank Ocean, Prince and Justin Timberlake and splitting duties with Newell writing the songs and lyrics aside Young's production skills. Following months of writing and recording in remote locations around England, the pair of London transplants relocated to Brooklyn over the summer for an indefinite stay.

They have been playing a ton of east coast shows, so I hope for some west coast love soon!  Download the ​El Regreso EP HERE!!
