NEW MUSIC: VON HAZE - MOTHER MOUNTAIN
CommentToday Von Haze premieres a download and stream of new track "Mother Mountain" on Noisey, taken from their album Kar Dee Akk Ake which drops today on iTunes with physical due out 11/6 via Pendu Sound. Members Travis Caine and Katherine Kin recently returned to NYC after almost a year residency in London. This year's CMJ marked the pair's homecoming with several choice showcase and the record release right around the corner.
Von Haze spent early part of last year recording Kar Dee Akk Akre at a secluded farm upstate in freezing weather conditions. For this collection the duo moved away from the washed-out shoegaze that permeates their earlier recordings into a realm of more restrained minimalist electronic sound all while retaining that sexy and drugged feeling that only they can deliver.
NEW VIDEO: HEALTH - TEARS
CommentOMG! Zombie babies! Happy Halloween everybody - I am officially disturbed! My home town Los Angeles electro-rock boys HEALTH want to fuck with your head, and this video will do just that! "Tears" is a short film by David Altobelli and Jeff Desom, with a score pulled from HEALTH's original soundtrack to 'Max Payne 3' from Rockstar Games. At first I was stoked because it is filmed in my old neighborhood of downtown LA, but then things get strange! Not for the faint of heart! Be safe out there kids.....and watch out for the babies!
NEW MUSIC: LUCIUS - GENEVIEVE
CommentA good friend of mine said I MUST listen to Brooklyn, NY based band Lucius because I will love it! My friend was right! Today Lucius premiered their bright indie-pop single "Genevieve" and I am all in! "The two singers from Lucius are a dangerous tag team, sounding powerful without becoming overbearing, tender without becoming too cutesy...they must know each other well, as their voices work together in an uncannily close relationship." - Deli Mag
Lucius released a self titled EP earlier this year that you can get HERE!
NEW VIDEO: THE CAST OF CHEERS - TRUCKS AT NIGHT
CommentLast week I posted the new single from The Cast Of Cheers - "Trucks At Night" - and now we have the new video! Love this band from Dublin, dying to see a live show!! Every time I listen to one of their songs I feel like dancing around and jumping on my bed! They will be heading out on tour with Two Door Cinema Club next year, that is going to be nuts! Watch, listen and love!
REMIX: DIVINE FITS - WOULD THAT NOT BE NICE (RJD2 REMIX)

NEW MUSIC: D/R/U/G/S - THE SOURCE OF LIGHT (RADIO EDIT)
CommentD/R/U/G/S is at it again! Young Manchester, UK producer is releasing a new track, and it's pretty great.....but everything he does is pretty great! "The Source Of Light" has a steady light build that gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling - just what you want in your dance music! D/R/U/G/S had plans to tour the US with Brit electro-rockers Breton this past September, but just like so many bands before.....visa issues pit the kibosh on that. Hope to see him over this way soon! "The Source Of Light" with remixes from Dan Avery and Max Cooper, will be released on November 26 by Different Recordings - but you can download it here now for free!
REMIX: ATLAS GENIUS - BACK SEAT (GOLDROOM REMIX)
CommentAmazing Aussie band plus bad ass Los Angeles DJ - put them together and my day is made! Atlas Genus has been remixed by my most favorite DJ at the moment - Goldroom - and the track is dope. Perfect way to get your dance on today - and you can also download it for free!

Memory Tapes is about to release a new album - Grace/Confusion - on December 4 via Carpark Records.
