Toro Y Moi previously shared the A-side to his forthcoming Record Store Day 7", "So Many Details", which will released on Black Friday (Nov. 23) this year. Now, you can stream the B-side to the "So Many Details" 7".
The song is a remix of "So Many Details" by Toro Y Moi himself that features Hodgy Beats. "So Many Details" will also be on Toro Y Moi's third LP, Anything In Return, that's being released by Carpark on January 22.
Hell yes! I am so excited for this new record from UK band Foals! I was traveling through Europe for the second time in 2007 on a mini va-cay when I heard Fouls for the first time and totally fell in love! Huge fan ever since, and don't get me started on their live shows..... fucking amazing! Here is a new video for single "Inhaler" and if this is a sign of things to come, the new record - Holy Fire - is going to be bananas! We'll have to wait till next year, the record drops on February 11, 2013!

As we come closer to the end of 2012, it's time for all of us to start making our "best of" lists .... and as of right now, Lovelife is at the top of mine! This band has made the second half of 2012 so enjoyable for me! The combination of Ally Young (Mirrors) and Lee Newell (Viva Brother) has created a synth-pop masterpiece with soulful grooves and catchy dance beats. I must have listened to their El Regreso EP a hundred times, and now they are set to release a new EP called The Fourth Floor on December 10.
"Heaven" - released today - is a new track off this upcoming EP, and Newell discloses that it was written about his old band, Viva Brother. With lyrics like, "I remember when I was standing at the top of the world," and "When I tried to say something I bit my tounge instead, now the kings is dead, he fell from this throne," is a solid reflection of the demise of Viva Brother and how emotional that was for him (if you don't know the story about Viva Brother, read this). It's a fucking great song - Lovelife is amazing - everyone needs to get on this now!

I have been keeping my eye on YesYou for over a year now (in fact I have blogged about pretty much everything they have done thus far), and it has been a pleasure watching them release their first single, play their first show, and now here is their first EP release - YesYou EP! We are in full swing of the weekend and I am actually happy to say that I am doing nothing except staying at home and hanging out with my dog! October was packed full of amazing shows where I found myself out on the town 4 to 5 nights a week - so I am taking a much needed break. However, the dance party continues at home like it does every day, and today I am feeling this remix from RAC. They reworked the smooth disco grooves from Chromeo and slapped their flavor all over that sexy bitch.
