NEW MUSIC: EVERYTHING EVERYTHING - KEMOSABE

Erin MaherComment

Know how sum bands just get better and better the more you listen until it's like the best shit you've ever heard?  This is currently happening with me and Everything Everything!  I got their first release Man Alive back in 2010, and I don't think I fully grasped the true amazing nature of this band....so I put it to the side.....until now.....

Everything Everything are gearing up to release their new album, Arc, early next year and every single they are putting out has been the best shit I have ever heard!  So I decided to revisit the 2010 release and I am now discovering just how awesome this is band is!  Fucking brilliant!

"Kemosabe" is the latest single to hit the scene, and its so good I have played it like 20 times in a row, just today!  There was also a video released to go along, but only the lucky Brits in the UK can view it at the moment, all of us in the rest of the world will have to wait until the album comes out next year!  F me!  You can pre-order Arc on iTunes HERE!

NEW VIDEO: HYENA (DELIRADIO LIVE SESSION)

Erin MaherComment

If you have not already experienced the awesomeness of DeliRadio, you my friend are missing out!  It's an amazing way to hear new music and find out who's playing in your neck of the woods.  There is a Beautiful Buzzz DeliRadio station where you can listen to some of the bands we have featured - click on the icon over on the right to start listening right away!  Now DeliRadio is starting up a live studio session series, and lucky for us the first installment is San Diego electro pop band Hyena.

Hyena have been making a name for themselves in Southern California recently, packing shows that are serious dance parties, as well as supporting really great bands like Portugal. The Man and M83, collabrating with artists like Dave Keuning from The Killers, and winning San Diego music awards for Best Electronic group in 2012.  They are currently working on a new record which we should see out sometime early next year.

NEW MUSIC: NIGHT TERRORS OF 1927

Erin MaherComment

Hello new Los Angeles band Night Terrors of 1927 - I like your new song "Dust and Bones" very much!  Neon Gold just premiered this new track and said, " 'Dust and Bones' is a post-apocalyptic kumbaya of epic proportions that will possess and save you in the same breath. It's a beautifully orchestrated four and a half minutes of fatalistic bliss - all ageless harmonies and relentlessly uplifting guitar and piano chords - and when you're time is up, you'll just want to live it all over again."

I agree!  Grab a free download!

NEW VIDEO: BLONDFIRE - WHERE THE KIDS ARE

Erin MaherComment

Did you know Panda blood is made up of candy and glitter?  Well.....now you do!  Blondfire released this video for "Where The Kids Are" last month, and I am only now getting around to it, sorry about that!  But hey - this song kicks so much ass that it's totally still worth watching, and.....if you are in the bay area they will be playing Popscene on November 29 - I'll totally be there!

NEW MUSIC: CHAD VALLEY & TROPHY WIFE - TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS EP

Erin MaherComment

Today I ordered some vinyl - which I usually don't do because I have a vinyl purchasing addiction, and once I get one I have to have more and more and more....it's a vicious cycle!  However, this is a limited addition pressing of two artists whom I love covering each other, and I think that's pretty cool!

Chad Valley and Trophy Wife have released the Tell All Your Friends EP where Trophy Wife premiers their first new track in quite a while called "Like No Other."  Then, Chad Valley covers that song....and vice versa with the Chad Valley song "Tell All Your Friends."  This is so great I just had to have it!  You can order your copy HERE - only 250 pressed so better get in on this now!  Stream the EP above and get your dreamy synth pop groove on!
