number of great remixes from Nite Jewel, Sepalcure, Jerome LOL, Touchy

Vydamo is Jim Finn from Art Vs Science - the best most amazing most fun most intense dance party live electro rock band I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. It has been a minute since we have heard from any of the AVS boys - they have been traveling the world and writing new music for the second half of this year, and as we can see here with Vydamo - working on side projects!
"Gonna Make It" is done in perfect AVS style - serious dance pop jams that don't take themselves too seriously that just scream party - with Jim's personal flavor added into the mix, how could this not be awesome? It's like mixing Fatboy Slim with Youngblood Hawke! I spent many days on the road on tour with Jim in the past , and I can tell you that his fun loving personality shines through on this track. I can't wait to hear more!

CommentThis song is so beautiful! Beach House is the shit! They have released their new video for "Wild" today, and it is beautifully shot! I really like the aesthetics here - other than that it's a bunch of really skinny people having a bad time.... and I really wanted the two boys to make-out but oh well!

CommentAhhh....listening to this new single from London's Ulterior totally takes me back to my industrial/goth days! No, I never dyed my hair black or wore black lipstick or dressed in black dresses with leather and lace, but I found love for this kinda sound through Bauhaus (I heart you Peter Murphy) and Nine Inch Nails.... things of that nature! I went to a Christian Death concert once...... and there was blood on my hands! Saw Sisters of Mercy too!! I digress..... Ulterior makes me feel all dark and goth-like..... I love it!
Consisting of brothers Paul and Benn McGregor and with additional sonic malice from Mickey J Ellis and Paul Simmons, Ulterior release their malevolent second album The Bleach Room on January 7. The first single to be taken from the album is "The Locus of Control." In the words of frontman Paul McGregor the track was written "after a day reading medical papers and then seeing a piece on the news about religious female circumcision that angered me and disgusted me to my core."

CommentLet's try to keep summer going, shall we! Viceroy has released a new single called "While We're In Love" featuring my buddies Ghost Beach! This pretty much made my day! It's like a match made in heaven! The two coasts collide to produce a delicious electro pop hit that will make you want to dance dirty! iTunes is still catching up from the aftermath of hurricane Sandy - so the single is not up yet, but it will be soon! Super excited to see Viceroy next month in SF, and eventually I will see Ghost Beach again (kinda having withdraws)! Listen and love!

NEW MUSIC: NEW NAVY - REGULAR TOWN
CommentNew Navy are back with a new single called "Regular Town" and it's so pop-a-licious it's almost absurd. I like pop, but this may be a bit to sweet for my taste. The kind of pop I like has some sort of edge - I am notorious for hating anything too happy (Grouplove, Tilly & The Wall) - I want sex and .....well.....yea......sex in my pop music! Dirty sexy pop music that makes you want to shake your ass and mouth kiss people - and New Navy misses this mark. However, New Navy grabs my attention with their great hooks! Reminds me of Vampire Weekend, and I don't care what you think, I love Vampire Weekend!
New Navy will be releasing a string of new singles in the months to come - I'll be listening!
