New Navy are back with a new single called "Regular Town" and it's so pop-a-licious it's almost absurd. I like pop, but this may be a bit to sweet for my taste. The kind of pop I like has some sort of edge - I am notorious for hating anything too happy (Grouplove, Tilly & The Wall) - I want sex and .....well.....yea......sex in my pop music! Dirty sexy pop music that makes you want to shake your ass and mouth kiss people - and New Navy misses this mark. However, New Navy grabs my attention with their great hooks! Reminds me of Vampire Weekend, and I don't care what you think, I love Vampire Weekend!
New Navy will be releasing a string of new singles in the months to come - I'll be listening!
