When someone asks me what new music I have been listening to, I say Du Tonc. When someone at a after party says to put on a song, I put on Du Tonc. When I go to sleep at night, I dream of Du Tonc!

French Horn Rebellion have been funking it up this year, all their new tracks are discolicious and bootay shaking good! This new video for "Johnny Smash" is better than most of the coolest things you've ever seen! French Horn Rebellion will be back in the bay area playing songs next month, and then I heard a rumor that they may or may not be hanging out with Beautiful Buzzz in some way in the not so far future...I don't know, it's just a rumor so......LOVE THEM!

We are always turning each other on to AMAZING new artist, and I think the world of them - and their blog rules. So during a conversation about CMJ they talked about Joywave, and because I can't possibly know everything, I took note of the name I had not heard, and later looked them up!
Ummmm - Bananas!!! Joywave has recently made the top of my list of new artist I am most excited about! We had the pleasure of meeting Polarsets at SXSW 2012 - they played our showcase and were absolutely AMAZING! We had been gushing over their "Morning" single since 2011 and were very excited to have them party with us in Austin! Finally we have a new track from Polarsets, and we can't wait to hear more! Aussie / South African five-piece Clubfeet have just released their AA single "Everything You Wanted / Heartbreak" - showcasing the band's melancholic synth-pop and deep indie-electronica. I mean.....that just sounds AMAZING! "Everything You Wanted" is a bittersweet anthem for youthful naivety, propelled by Kavinsky-esque synths and spacious Peter Gabriel soundscapes. "Elevate" dropped today and I am so happy I feel like I'm floating - which is kinda the feeling this new track creates. This is classic St. Lucia, happy bouncy big sounding music with that tropical flavor that makes life......better! I just know the remixes for this track are going to be HUGE!
