Holy Ghost! debuted their latest single, "Okay," today, and this makes me very happy. The song is the lead track off their upcoming sophomore album Dynamics, to be released September 10 on DFA Records. Pretty excited about this release, Holy Ghost! sometimes rules my life!
NEW MUSIC: SUZUKI/METHOD - SHERBET

Earlier this year we featured single and video for "Country Cousins" from Suzuki/Method which we loved and were pretty much obsessed with, and today this Manchester, UK band dropped another banger of a song! "Sherbet" came up in my Soundcloud stream and I freaked out with joy! Suzuki/Method are just coming into the world, but they are making an impact with their 80's infused electro dance rock - they pretty much slay! This week I had my first official meeting to kick-off planning our SXSW 2014 showcase, and when I think about bands I want on my wishlist, these lads immediately come to mind! This is the kind of band we here at Beautiful Buzzz love to support, we love you Suzuki/Method!
REMIX: ST. LUCIA - ELEVATE (PASSION PIT REMIX)
CommentIt's pretty clear, when Passion Pit is remixing your song, you are about to blow the fuck up! Not that we didn't already love St. Lucia for the past few years, because of course we have, it's St. Lucia!! This Passion Pit remix of "Elevate" is more than a great track, it's the door opening to mainstream. And rightly so, we need more bands like St. Lucia in the mainstream!! Their debut album When The Night is out October 8th!!

CommentOne of the best moments of SXSW 2013 is when Icky Blossoms showed up at my venue and completely destroyed their set! I caught an Icky Blossoms show earlier in the year, but I was really sick and kinda just went through the motions. In Austin however, they crushed my stage and made the room explode with joy - some of the best shit I have seen in a long time! Icky Blossoms put out a new video today of "I AM" and while it's a little hard to watch, the track is undeniably fierce!

REMIX: JUTTY RANX - I SEE YOU (BIT FUNK REMIX)
CommentTwo weekends ago I had the pleasure of hosting the San Francisco live show debut from this amazing producer Bit Funk, and it was quite an adventure. Already being a huge fan of his original tracks and remixes - having him on the bill for my biggest party to date was pretty fuckin cool, I kinda felt like swooning a little! Through massive flight delays, late set times, quality scotch, shitty hotels, fancy hotels, VIP access to festivals, after parties and time with friends, Bit Funk remained one of the coolest guys - always having a good time whatever came his way. Oh... and his set was SICK! I can't wait to have him back!
This week Bit Funk released a new remix of "I See You" by Jutty Ranx and its noting short from brilliant; expecting no less than greatness with anything this guy touches. It's only available to purchase in the UK right now, but the rest of the world will have access soon! Happy listening!

The enthusiasm he is feeling about Bad Suns reminds me so much of myself and how I get the exact same way about bands, I can't help but to share his joy with all of you! Bad Suns have a great single "Cardiac Arrest" out now, just finished up a few west coast dates with The 1975, and are pretty much ready to BURST into indie mainstream. CommentNight Drive is becoming one of my favorite bands of 2013 - I have a slight obsession happening..... Earlier this year they released debut single "Drones" which completely blows my mind, and then had my pal Bit Funk do a killer remix which I am pretty sure I listen to daily. I digress, Night Drive is kind of bananas good, and they have just released a new tasty track "Sea Of Light" that has me super giddy! This is hard core electro pop with a tinge of the dark side, which equates to killer edge and hot hot sex ...... mmmmmmmm! Night Drive will be doing some cool things with Beautiful Buzzz in the months to come, so hold on to your panties - it's gonna be a dance party! Free download kids!
