NEW MUSIC: WOLF ALICE - BLUSH

North London's Wolf Alice continue on the trail to their anticipated debut EP Blush with the release of the EP's title track.

The release of Blush prefaces the band's forthcoming UK live dates with Swim Deep, starting this Friday at The Warehouse in Newcastle, as well as their own headline show to celebrate the EP's release on 30th October at Dingwalls, London.

With the excitement about the EP's announcement complimented by its first track 'She' - a snarling rock beast that saw the band further championed by the likes of BBC Radio One, NME and many more - Blush's release is the surest realisation of the quartet's irreplicable diversity.  The loving fragility of Ellie Rowsell's stands out from the off as the band build this epic crescendo of crystalline guitars, insatiable melodies and driving rhythms harking to their own love of psychedelia and striking a beautiful balance betwee their euphoric studio and live sounds.

The Blush EP will be released 7th October on Chess Club Records.

NEW MUSIC: ROOSEVELT - ELLIOT

In every young producers life there is a moment of realization that things are going exactly as they did in dreams, that success is actually around the corner.  I imaging this is how Roosevelt feels at the moment, picked up by Future Classic for Australian release, on the Windish booking agency in the US/Canada - pretty much does not get cooler than that.  There is no way to not be successful with that golden combination, and hey, the music is really fuckin great to boot!  This new track "Elliot" has just turned my sleepy morning into a dance party!  Roosevelt's Elliot EP is out on iTunes now, and will be released via Future Classic in Australia on Sept. 20!  Congrats!

NEW MUSIC: KOOL HEAD - STICK UP KIDS

Just listened to this track, and I pretty much lost it!  Kool Head - they consider their music a genre called Black Wave, which is a combination of New Wave, Hip Hop and Funk layered on a fresh bed of soul. ARE YOU KIDDING??  THIS IS AMAZING!!  Produced by fellow Brooklynder Joywave, this track "Stick Up Kids" is loaded with everything you could ever want in your pop music, a dance beat synthed out with a catchy hook and sweet soulful vocals.  I'm hooked - thanks Kool Head!  Download this track for free! 

REMIX: DECIBELS - REGULATOR MODERATOR (MIGHTY MOUSE REMIX)

Last month I had the pleasure of putting Mighty Mouse on one of our Beautiful Buzzz shows in San Francisco for a late night DJ set - and I can safely say that it was one of the best DJ sets I have ever seen!  Mighty Mouse is AMAZING - his disco flavor is bursting with glitter on every track, and today he drops a new remix to start your week off right!  He takes "Regulator Moderator" by Decibels to the next level; this is one hot dance floor hit!  More big things are coming from Mighty Mouse so keep a look out!
