CommentBreton is my #1 top band to watch for in 2014! Their 2012 debut album Other People's Problems was fantastic, and they have since taken Europe by storm! America - we are ready for Breton!! This London based band is both elegant and dark, and to top it all off will make you dance your ass off!! Their new album War Room Stories drops February 3, and we here at Beautiful Buzzz have been listening to it non-stop!! "Sticker Factory" is on their North American only Force Of Habit EP - it's fucking brilliant!! Listen and love!!
NEW MUSIC: SILVERSUN PICKUPS - CANNIBAL
CommentIt's kind of fitting that my first blog post of 2014 would be a new song from Silversun Pickups. This band is a defining moment for me - we all have them, and through out my life's musical journey I have had a number of them: hearing Srg. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band for the first time with my dad, New Kids on the Block ruling my prepubescent world, falling in love with Kurt Cobain, my first Phish show, that boy I dated once who loved Joy Division, etc. Things of this nature that open your ears and your heart to a new path of music, loving every moment, it's in these moments we become who we are.
When I heard Silversun Pickups for the first time it was a defining moment - living in LA and catching a show of a local band who I had heard were pretty good. That show opened a whole new world, and I soon became intrenched in the Silver Lake / Echo Park music scene, eventually working for top promoters in this area and supported the growth of indie rock. Silversun Pickups changed everything!
They are saying goodbye to Dangerbird Records with final release - a singles album due out February 25. Included is this new single "Cannibal" which premiered on Rolling Stone today! Classic Silversun Pickups, brilliant as always! Enjoy!

CommentUgh - I LOVE this track! New Zealand duo Broods have released their second single "Never Gonna Change" which is so good, I mean so so so good! It's dark and sexy - reminds me of NO CEREMONY/// and that is never a bad thing!! We are seeing so many great things coming out of NZ lately, and Broods is one of the special up-and-coming bands who may end up leading the pack! Seriously, one listen and you'll be hooked!!

CommentBrand spanking new music for your Sunday dance party!! Loveless are Norwegian duo Eirik Tillerli and Filip Kollsete, and this is a great find kids - thank you soundcloud! This remix is their first release via Oslo based label Nora Collective. Loveless took 17 year old up and coming artist Sigrid Raabe's track "Two Fish" and made it discolicious! Enjoy!
