Wildcat! Wildcat! - there are no words that can describe the love I have for these humans!!  It was almost a year ago when we first met at my SXSW show.  They played, I swooned, and we fell in love!  I have caught a bunch of shows since then, and each has been just as amazing as the first time I saw them so many years ago in a little LA club!  Last week they were in San Francisco and completely blew my mind!  We hugged, got drunk, and laughed!!  Wildcat! DCUP - SOMEONE TOLD ME (SPACE JUMP SALUTE REMIX)

Last night I was up very late working on my SXSW show The Green Room - the work is never ending and the stress is keeping me awake!  SXSW is my monster, so burning the midnight oil is a nightly occurrence this time of year!  However, letting my soundcloud stream play during these late night working hours, I come across some pretty great tracks, and last night I found this little gem!  DCUP we already know and love, but Space Jump Salute is something new to me!  He did a remix of "Someone Told Me" by DCUP - and it's so deliciously vibey I just cant get enough!!  His name is Marcus Sadler, he's from Birmingham UK, and he is currently making all my dreams come true with his beautifully produced house nu-disco induced tracks!!  Space Jump Salute - one of my new faves!!

NEW MUSIC: DU TONC - I'M ON FIRE (BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN COVER)

I'm going to admit this and most likely get a ton of shit for it, but I have never been a Springsteen fan - like at all!!  I know I know, you're thinking there is something wrong with me .... but I just can't help it!  I've always just felt like I was supposed to like him because it's what you do when you are a huge music nerd.  The years I spent defending my opinion about ol' Bruce working in record stores as a teen and in college, through my major/indie marketing & A&R jobs at labels, on the road debates tour managing bands - this discussion comes up and I am always shunned!!  The Boss just never did it for me, which I think is perfectly OK - because you know who does do it for me??  Du Tonc!

So, now my worlds are colliding - Du Tonc is covering "I'm On Fire" by Bruce Springsteen and I am not mad about it ..... no judgement!!  I have been obsessed with everything Du Tonc for the whole of 2013 - and as I should, they are AMAZING!!  When you put UK producer and DJ Mighty Mouse and Australian electro pop singer Matt Van Schie (from Van She) together, what else could you expect besides greatness??  You can grab this track as a free download kids!!  Get some!!

NEW MUSIC: M O T H E R - EASY

Here's something super brand new - M O T H E R!  They are a band from Brooklyn, and that's pretty much all they want you to know about them!  This single "Easy" is pretty rad, and they just played Neon Gold's Pop Shop West show over the weekend - so we can expect some great things from M O T H E R.  Listen and love!!

REMIX: BAD COP - MY DYING DAYS (BIG DATA REMIX)

Well this is delicious!!  Big Data are back with another new remix that has us all in a tither - the good kind of tither!!  Big Data has put their super sleek synth pop flavor all over "My Dying Days" by Bad Cop - we like it a lot!  Short but sweet, just the right amount of greatness to stick!

THE KNOCKS - SAVIOR (FEAT. WES MILES OF RA RA RIOT)

PLASTIC PLATES - STAY IN LOVE (FEAT. SAM SPARRO)

Forget chocolates and flowers, the perfect Valentines Day present was new Plastic Plates music.  Felix Bloxsom and Sam Sparro pair beautifully to create an elated wave of feel good dance music.  There’s not much to say, this track is so good it speaks for itself.
