So this made my day better! The more I hear from The Penelopes, the more they are becoming my favorite indie pop band! The Penelopes are the kind of band who are gonna "all of a sudden" be a huge success - people are gonna be like, whoa....where did they come from, I love this band!! You and I are going to have music enthusiast claiming rights - that we knew about this band first before our lame non music enthusiast friends did, that we were talking about this band ages ago, and look at them like they are clueless! Again, soundcloud hands me a little slice of heaven, something I've never heard, and something fucking awesome! All I can really tell you about what you are listening to is SOLAR is a electro pop duo from Barcelona, and this is their track "Todo Se Volver à Borroso" and this is a remix by French producer Dombrance. I don't know what any of it means - but I know I fucking love it! French house producers are completely rocking my world these days, and Dombrance is a awesome new addition to my playlist! I have been swooning over this London based producer for quite some time now - everything he puts into the world is awesome! This morning when I saw their new remix of G.U.Y. by Lady Gaga, I realized that I really really miss my British baby angels! I am spoiled by them, usually dropping a new single or remix like every month that makes us swoon! But then I realize it's actually me - and that I have been so wrapped up in SXSW and starting my new work with Binary Records - that I have failed to pay attention to my cheeky friends. They have been back in London for winter, but are soon returning to sunny southern California, and will be playing a few select live dates with Ellie Goulding. CommentRemember when Little Daylight put out this single "Overdose", and they had like 170 Facebook followers? I do, and I totally fell in love! I fought hard to get them on my 2013 SXSW showcase where they played one of their first live shows ever, and I totally fell in love all over again! Now they are CRUSHING shit - a year later and they're all growed up, and everything they do, I totally fall in love again and again! This Future Islands remix is sick!
