MARIBOU STATE - WALLFLOWER (LANE 8 REMIX)

This has been such a great year for Lane 8, from crushing the festival circuit to killing the remix game - he's managed to produce some of the best deep house gems for our ear holes! Delicious! All week I have been listening to this remix and telling myself I have to remember to post it on Beautiful Buzzz - but the life/work struggle has been real, and when you are just a two person independently run publication of sweet sweet jams, well..... we can't possibly get to all the things we would like. However, our homies Pat Lok and Autograf have a special place in our hearts, so this was a must! Pat Lok never disappoints and he has spread his disco funk sound all over "Dream" by Autograf. This one will be perfect for your weekend dance parties - listen and love! 

KANT - NIGHTCALL (TECH REMIX)

I'm never disappointed with any release that comes from Black Butter Records - they always seem to find super dope deep house gems, and this track is a perfect example of just that! This summer Danish producer KANT dropped "Nightcall" and today the Tech Remix has been made as a free download! Those of us on the west coast are just starting our day, but I truly believe any time of day is acceptable for some delicious deep house grooves .... and the grooves here are fierce! MAJOR LAZOR & DJ SNAKE - LEAN ON (CRWNS REMIX)

Lean On has been taken through the the cycle of remix support from artists everywhere, but I have not heard such an imaginative take on the original as newcomer CRWNS has done here. Synthy stabs moving into lush piano chords evolving into a bright and rich future bass drop. The movement just keeps coming throughout the track keeping us diving and rolling to the end. Pick up this awesome remix as a free download. 

GRYN - TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS

While summer may be winding down, the music of summer continues! We've recruited fellow tastemakers and SoCal legends GRYN to give us their Top 5 Summer Jams. Living up to their name, the guys have made us smile with a great mix of soul, funk, house, deep groovy bumps and daytime splendors. To us, this remix wholly embodies summer… so it’s the perfect track to kick off our selection. Pomo’s signature funky basslines work too well over Keyone Starr’s powerful vocals. It’s all around such a well-produced, feel-good track.

Cosmo's Midnight - Walk With Me (feat. KUČKA)

This track has been constantly playing whenever we have a minute and decide to trek around LA with friends. The entire thing is one fun and lighthearted groove. Also, this track pairs nicely with a heavy dose of Vitamin D.

Kartell - Attracted

We got our hands on the new Kartell EP just before summer hit, and haven’t been able to stop grooving since. It’s a great track to accompany any summer situation, be it sipping beverages by the pool or getting your boogie on at a rooftop soiree.

Gallant - Weight in Gold (Brasstracks Remix)

This track hits us square in the feels. Every damn time. It felt like everyone and their mothers decided to remix Gallant this summer, but for us, this Brasstracks iteration takes the cake. It’s the perfect transition track between your daytime and nighttime summer escapades.

Thabo Getsome - The Sound (Sacha Robotti's Wobbly Remix)

We’ve been mixing with this Sacha Robotti remix nonstop this summer. This is the track you should throw on once the sun has finally set and you’re ready to spend a balmy night on the town.

RKCB - DAYDREAMING

I have been caught daydreaming many times, by teachers or friends or my parents mostly. I tend to stare at walls while biting my bottom lip, and once someone told me that I was going crosseyed, and I was like ... woah that must have been one hell of a daydream! Ha! This new track from RKCB definitely has those "Daydreaming" vibes! With dreamy melodies and synthy beats, this Los Angeles duo is crushing with this one! The vocals are so swirly and delicious, dripping with that sexy electro R&B flavor .... watch out I'm gonna swoon now!

My #1 is Le Youth - this legend and I are bonded for life and hey, I'm ok with that. We've just come off a huge sold out show with him this summer - he destroyed our San Francisco party, and that night I could not help but get emotional over how much he is growing and how I am so happy to have such a great friend - who has the best sense of humor and totally gets it, all of it! So hilarious! Today we get a new Le Youth remix of "Make You Feel" by Alina Baraz & Galimatias that is pure 90's R&B disco funk vibes that we love so much from this LA producer. He can definitely give you what you need! This track officially drops September 4th via Ultra Records - you know what to do! 

CROATIA SQUAD & ME AND MY TOOTHBRUSH - S.L.E.D.G.E

Disco vibes for days! Both Croatia Squad and Me and My Toothbrush have been killing it lately releasing some truly Enormous Tunes. I've been loving everything they've been throwin' down and they're bringing it again with this track. Combining dirty funky vintage synths with horn samples, guitar plucks, even indian pan flute they've thrown everything at us and its BRILLIANT. This track represents exactly where I feel my taste in dance music is right now. They've sculpted a grooving record that's upbeat, funky and wicka wicka fresh.
