NGHTMRE & BOOMBOX CARTEL - AFTERSHOCK (ORIGINAL MIX)

We're getting melodic and very hype this AM with this new NGHTMRE & Boombox Cartel collab. "Aftershock" starts off with a pensive piano intro with a longing vocal chop, but quickly turns it up with future bright synth explosions. Don't get too lulled into dreamland yet because then we get snapped into the real build. True to NGHTMRE form this track gets HUGE with a trappy glitchy drop that swipes you up in the air and then pounds you back down to earth. You're relieved back into the Boombox Style piano riff from the beginning, and the song takes on its full shape. Equal parts melodic and grungy this track is blissfully heavy. Just the kind of excellence we would expect from a collaboration of this magnitude. OH and it's that FREE DL homies!    

MIIKE SNOW - HEART IS FULL (ORIGINAL MIX)

After a 3 year hiatus with Christian Karlsson venturing off to create the wildly successful duo Galantis, Miike Snow is back! And ohhh are they back. Miike Snow has always been on the musical forefront pushing boundaries and intellectually challenging the status quo. "Heart is Full" is true to form utilizing a boisterous soul sample (if anyone knows what they sampled please drop us a line), and a pounding beat. They let the horn sample create most of the melody encapsulating the infectious vocals. With a super catchy chorus section of whoah's Miike Snow has created yet another festival ready tune that has them prepped for a substantial return to form.  

NOVKA - DAT VIBE (ORIGINAL MIX)

Croatian newcomers Novka will have your Halloween party ready to go off with this beefy new tune "Dat Vibe." This track is a handful of goodness. Spikey blips and percussion intro us into us to a deep piano/synth line that gets filled in with the vocal Dat Vibe chop. After the build we jump right into a smothering bassy drop that ungulfs you in sound. After all that fun, the boys cast you off into an atmospheric and orchestral breakdown that keeps me guessing where this is going?!? Fun and innovative oh AND its a free download. ZHU & SKRILLEX & THEY - WORKING FOR IT (ORIGINAL MIX)

Well I remember a point in time when Zhu was being mistaken in the blog world for Skrillex. Long past are those days and Zhu has fully risen to form with his second EP release called the Genesis Series. This track "Working For It" being the last installment on the six song EP is a collab with brand new Mind of a Genius (Zhu's label) signee THEY and the man Skrill himself. This track fits perfectly with the musical branding Zhu has created for himself. Blending the mellowed yet still somehow hyped up stabs of piano and synth melody around a distinctively Skrillex infused bass sound and rhythm. This tune manages to be both laid back and hype which I think is characteristic of most Zhu records. The man, the myth, the intrigue that is Zhu continues to expand the boundaries of the music world.  

PEGBOARD NERDS - EMOJI (ORIGINAL MIX)

"Hey Now! C'mon Now!" The Pegboard Nerds cap off their Pink Cloud EP with this energetic final new tune "Emoji." In classic PN fashion you're gonna get plenty of bass with this one, but wrapped up in some spritely explosive melody and vocals. The Nerds are set to release the Pink Cloud EP on October 23rd, and all proceeds from the EP and merch sales in October are going to help support the cancer fighting organization Fuck Cancer. I love it when artists use their creative expression toward a good cause, and this is a total win-win for everyone. OYSTER KIDS - CREEPY (ORIGINAL MIX) + MUSIC VIDEO

Just in time for Halloween, new kids on the block Oyster Kids have delivered to us a deliciously "Creepy" new tune that is equal parts mellowed out synth pop with a hint of something sinister underneath. I'm a big fan of the harmonies, the synth soundscape and snappy snare throughout this one. "Creepy" is setting the bar pretty high for the newcomers and I can't wait to see what they have next up their sleeve. Already making waves on Hype Machine at #8 as I'm writing this, today they've also released a new music video to accompany this breakout single. Talk about creepy, the two guy and girl leads are precariously smiling throughout reminiscent of Chuckie Dolls, accompanied by mysterious bandage wrapped owners. The video certainly matches the name of the song, so go check out the music video here.  

GRYN - WHAT U WANT (ORIGINAL MIX)

The smiley duo in GRYN are back with a record that's forging a new path for one of our favorite SoCal up-and-comers. I remember talking to them recently about working toward a new musical direction and I'm super stoked for the results! It's hard to pinpoint exactly what genre this falls under, but I'm calling it Funky Future Tropical Bass House. I know that seems all encompassing, but hit play and see what I mean. The boys have craftfully blended vocal chops, complex drum patterns, deep funky bass and a tropical oriented soundscape that results in a track that is truly unique and refreshing. Also special late Happy Birthday to Ethan who I know was celebrating over the weekend. Keep it coming boys! Can't wait to hear what's coming up next.

It's so exciting when someone you love releases new music, because there has been all this talk about the tracks and release dates moving around, and the anticipation can build up until you are counting down the hours ... then finally .... it's out! Prince Fox has become a major part of our Beautiful Buzzz family this year, and we are psyched to show you this new track "Heartbeat Darkside ft. Thewz" and let you know it's oh.... so delicious! This is 100 percent a dance floor hit - I'm struggling to remain in my seat as I write because I just wanna shake that ass! This one drops from his upcoming MUSINGS EP out October 9 (tomorrow) which is a must have! Get into this kids!

NIKO THE KID - ALL RIGHT (ORIGINAL MIX)

Hello Buzzzers say hi to Atlanta newcomer Niko the Kid. I read that he's been in the game for a bit producing tracks for Akon and Waka Flocka Flame (credit: Fresh New Tracks), but recently decided to strike out on his own. I heard his other track "Slip Away" recently (which is awesome btw link here) and when I saw this track come out I knew I had to give it a write up. This one is a gem! Straight honey dosed house vibes in the beginning bring us into a dreamy breakdown that builds into a groove of straight epicness! Be looking out for this kid he's got some more fire coming I'm sure.
