TRACE - LOW

Our homies over at Next Wave keep churning out one amazing track after another - and this latest from Los Angeles newcomer Trace is like a little slice of heaven! All sorts of chill vibes here with "Low" - overflowing with electro pop melodies topped off with dreamy soft vocals, you should be getting a massive amount of feels with this one. I hear Trace has a ton of really cool things happening in 2016 - I can't wait to see what's next!  Until then get into this kids!

MONOGEM - TAKE IT SLOW

Ah look right here! Our girl Monogem is back with a total summer jam "Take It Slow." We had so much fun with her at our Get Buzzzed Austin showcase and we know she's got a really bright future ahead of her. "Take It Slow" is a perfect mix of tropical and pop feels that's ready for your pool party, backyard grill, drive down the PCH, pretty much anytime you're feeling good! The record begins fittingly slow, but a hot second later the synth stabs chime in grooving behind her heavenly vocals. You can grab this on all digital retailers including Spotify right here.

IT'S A NEW PHENOMENON. They. are the future of RNB and hot off the massive tour with Bryson Tiller we're blessed with a new single. Being released via Mind of a Genius they're forthcoming album titled "HYENA" is sure to be chock full of smash hits. With past collabs with Skrillex and fellow label mate ZHU, we can only expect some insane features on the album. Keep it locked because these two have barely gotten started.

Our boys are back at it again! Whenever Hotel Garuda drops a fresh new track, original or remix, we know it's gonna be fire! After crushing the DoLab stage at Coachella over the weekend, how could we not feature their latest and greatest! The legends lay down their dance groove with this remix of "Nothing Like This" by Blonde & Craig David" -- It's super yummy and suited for the steamiest of dance floors!  You can swoop this one from iTunes HERE!

LOST KINGS - YOU FT. KATELYN TARVER (HALOGEN X NIKO THE KID REMIX)

I love this Lost Kings track so much! For real I jam this in my car and sing at the top of my lungs, pretty sure people laugh at me but whatever! It's a great day for new music, cos our homies Halogen teamed up with Niko The Kid to drop this new remix of "You ft. Katelyn Tarver" for all the dance vibes! I finally get to do hangs and see a live set from Atlanta homies Halogen on Friday night in SF, and then Lost Kings on Saturday night - it's going to be ham so please send the positive vibes that I make it out alive! Get into this one! 

CHVRCHES - CLEAREST BLUE (GRYFFIN REMIX)

Oh Gryffin! For over 2 years we have been talking about this brilliant producer - and all the things are finally happening - he's crushing 2016! Featured as one of the buzziest artists at SXSW and selling out all dates on his first official US tour this spring, you can say he's making moves! Today Gryffin drops his new remix of "Clearest Blue" by CHVRCHES and it's 100% delicious! It has all the sweet future groove flavor that we love about his sound! Keeping the feels light and airy, this one will take you to that giant dance floor on cloud 9! I'm gonna be doing hangs with Gryffin tomorrow night in San Francisco at Rickshaw Stop - so if you are one of the lucky ones who bought tickets to this sold out show, I'll see you there!

BOOM!  Not gonna lie -- I am beyond excited for this one!  We've just added Classixx (DJ Set) to our Satin Jackets show on May 28 at Mezzanine in San Francisco! Last time they played Mezzanine it sold out way in advance, so we highly suggest getting your tickets now!  

ERIC SHARP - A LITTLE MORE FT. SPENCER LUDWIG & SHANDRA DIXON

Now that all the Coachella buzz and all the subsequent Palms Springs and LA parties have been laid to rest, I'm slowly trying to get back to the slog or normalcy. Which certainly isn't easy, but tracks like Eric Sharp's "A Little More" definitely help. This track grooves hard yet still manages to remain upbeat, soothing and even relaxed. Certainly due to the incredible trumpet line from Capital Cities' Spencer Ludwig and the graceful vocals of Shandra Dixon. According to Eric the record "represents the eternal wellspring of hope that is around every corner if we look for it. It celebrates the joy and release that music and dancing can inspire in us all." Music is certainly that, and while I may be looking for a little extra reserve of joy to help get me through this week, it's records like "A Little More" that totally hit the spot. RL GRIME - AURORA (NGHTMRE REMIX)

Pretty much two of my favorite things - and on a day like today as the world is mourning the loss of music legend Prince - we all need to feel the love, in any form of music we may like listening to. Feeling it here with my boys RL Grime and NGHTMRE! As if we all didn't know this would eventually happen - NGHTMRE puts his spin on bass lord RL Grime's "Aurora" and I'll be playing this one all weekend while I run around the streets of LA on my mini vaycay!
