BOOM! Can I just say that this individual coming into my life this year has been so ficking awesome - like for real! It's only April and already we've had multiple hangs and super fun adventures with this Denver based producer SteLouse, and he's just brilliant! His tracks .... sick! His live sets .... sick! He keep blowing me away with this unbreakable talent and sweet disposition ... we just get each other! Tomorrow night SteLouse is gonna crush with Prince Fox at the Closed Sessions party in DC - if you are in that area I highly suggest getting out to this show! Our boy SteLouse made a little mix for our Closed Sessions homies - I suggest you get into this one!

THE GET BUZZZED ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: STELOUSE
Q1. How old were you when you first started making music? When did it become serious?
I started playing guitar in elementary school. I think I was about 8 or 9 years old at the time. I playing in bands in high school but didn't get serious until after graduation. I tried going to college but was like 'nope this sucks' so I dropped out and started a band. I got involved in electronic production about 5 years ago.
Q2. Whether it’s a remix or an original, what is the first step you take when writing a track?
The first step to writing a track is to get inspired and have an idea. Nothing is more counterproductive then sitting there with Ableton open and no inspiration.
Q3. What is one of the best moments you've had so far in your career?
The recent tour with my friend Prince Fox. Being able to go city to city and see and meet all my fans IRL. To see them react in person to the music. Another big moment would have to be when I first saw video of Bassnectar playing my Doja Cat remix at Summer Camp.
Q4. What is another BUZZZworthy artist that inspires you and why?
MYRNE. He's one of my favorite dudes in the game right now and his production skills are next level.
Q5. Of all your releases, which one is your favorite and why?
Right now it's my most recent release with my friend MYRNE, "Call Me". It's just a really fun track that we made very quickly, but it really encompasses everything we've both been doing over the last year. Plus I love working with MYRNE, he's such a homie.

Music, Original MixCommentI know you guys have been waiting for this one! Just under 2 weeks ago we released a StéLouse Buzzzmix that has been crushing the plays on SC! Number one question I am getting from feedback is about this track, and what the hell is is and how can people get their hands on it! At the time "Call Me" was not officially released, so we threw up an ID on the tracklist and just let people marinate it it for a while! Check out the Buzzzmix Vol. 21 HERE! However, today we see the official release of this brilliant colab between our boy StéLouse and MYRNE so everyone can finally swoop it up! How amazing is StéLouse tho for real - I finally got to see his live set this past weekend at my show in SF. He and Prince Fox sold that room out and holy crap it was so out of control, 100% one of the best times I have had in a minute (see photo below)! Grab a free download HERE!
BUZZZMIX VOL. 21 - STELOUSE
Music, Mixtape, Original Mix, Remix, PREMIERECommentJust a few days ago I had the pleasure of finally meeting and hanging with StéLouse - he rolled into town to play a Super Bowl party that he actually ended up not playing - it's a long story! None the less we had a great night with a fancy dinner, told funny stories that made us giggle, and I impressed him with my aggressive female driving + parking! We even made up a new StéLouse track all DJ Khaled style, and I'm telling you - it's gonna be a hit! It seems like we've been talking about StéLouse quite a bit these days - because everything he puts down is bananas good, and he even made our Best Of 2015 list! We just included this Denver producer in our Phase One artist announcement for our SXSW show Get Buzzzed, so this new Buzzzmix Vol. 21 has great timing! StéLouse kept it short but super sweet - his song selection is so on point with all the future feels - so much fire! Might even be some unreleased tracks mixed in there ..... oh snap! And (yes it gets better) he's currently on a US tour that Beautiful Buzzz is supporting with the ultimate homie Prince Fox - and you can check to see if they are hitting your city HERE!
