[PREMIERE] NGHTMRE - HOLDIN' ON TO ME (SNUGS REMIX)

Let us introduce you to the mysterious LA based Snugs! We don't know much about the group at this point other than the fact that they have put a killer rework to NGHTMRE's "Holdin' On To Me." The track is smooth, yet perky and groovy with splashes of ambient synthetic textures and sounds, bobbing sub bass, vocal blips and chops all wrapped up with bell plucks and claps. According to the group, they chose NGHTMRE's song to rework from the melancholy tone of the vocals, a voice that sounded like it need a hug and Snugs is right there waiting to rush in.

Pretty much two of my favorite things - and on a day like today as the world is mourning the loss of music legend Prince - we all need to feel the love, in any form of music we may like listening to. Feeling it here with my boys RL Grime and NGHTMRE! Yesterday our little muffin NGHTMRE put this new track into the world - we love all things this Los Angeles producer does, and with this we get to see a softer side of this bass king. With smoothR&B vibes mixed in with sexy low-end beats, this is the first time NGHTMRE wrote and sang his own vocals and we think it turned out pretty great! Guys! Our Illenium + Said The Sky show in San Francisco on May 14 is almost sold out! These tickets went so fast! I'd definitely swoop them now before they are gone! 

Illenium is pretty much everything right now!  A few weeks back he released his full length album Ashes which is packed full of the most dreamy future feels anyone could ever ask for! He's also announced a big spring tour which is selling like crazy - and we are psyched to be a part of it all! Today Illenium offers up his Top 5 Summer Jams for us to vibe out with! 

Ember Island - Need You (Gill Chang Remix) 
Ember Island is one of my favorite vocal groups right now.  The vocalist is like a mix of Ellie Goulding and Purity Ring and Gill Chang absolutely crushed this remix.  Love the intricacy and vibe.

Mako - Way Back Home
This has been on repeat for the past 2 months.  Mako is so awesome at creating an intense and organic atmosphere and these vocals and harmonies are absolutely perfect

Mitis - Foundations ft. Adara
Mitis has been a favorite of mine for a while now and this new original stands out to me as one of his best tracks.  The intro and vocal bring me in immediately and the drop is super unique.

Evangeline - My Kingdom (William Black Remix) 
Will Black is on the come up and has been putting out super solid remixes recently.  I love the groove on this one and the vocal chop is money.  Some of his unreleased stuff is amazing too. Definitely check him out.

Tommy Trash - Luv U Giv (NGHTMRE Remix)  
NGHTMRE is one of the most consistent producers I know and this remix is so sick.  I love the old school vocal vibe mixed with his future bass sounds.  Always love hearing his new tunes.

I'm at it late again today - so many things going on with so little time, a girl simply can't do it all! However, when a homie puts out the goodness, it must be addressed! Chicago producer and Run The Trap fam CRWNS put his spin on "Street" by NGHTMRE and it's siiiick! The track is pretty redic on its own, but CRWNS put some extra layers of bass and all kinds of future feels all over this one for us to kinda lose our minds over! Hella good! NGHTMRE - PRELUDE / BURN OUT

Hey now!  The first two tracks from our boy NGHTMRE's EP have dropped, and gotta say I am pretty excited for this one kids!  NGHTMRE has been a game changer for me and my personal musical journey deeper into bass feels and that booty shaking low-end!  Making our Best Of 2015 list, this LA producer is finally releasing his first official EP via Mad Decent, and from these first two tracks we can tell the next ones will be fire!  BB will be featuring each new tack as they drop in the weeks to come, so keep a look out!  You can download "Prelude" HERE and "Burnout" HERE for a limited time!   

THE BEST OF 2015!

One thing I have always said is that I am definitely not a music journalist!  Beautiful Buzzz was created as an outlet where I can tell my friends about all the great music I come across - and over the past few years we've grown into a fun place where people can find new tracks and listen to my stories! This Best Of 2015 list is personal; it's a combination of tracks I loved and great moments I had working with the artists over the past year - whether it was through the blog, at one of my Beautiful Buzzz shows, or just a night out on the town!!  Enjoy!!
