BEAUTIFUL BUZZZ

PHANTOMS - CALL MY NAME FT. SKYLAR ASTIN

Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

Oh Phantoms - my little angels! A few years back these two legends came into my life and it's been forever better because of it. Vinny and Kyle are the sweetest dudes ever, and I am such a lucky girl because they love me like no one else does -- just some perks of the job. When Phantoms are not on tour with the likes of Com Truise or Big Wild, they can be found crushing the snapchat game as Dillon Frances's best friends - which is pure comedy. This electro pop deep house duo has the stuff, and it's the good stuff! Their new track "Call My Name ft. Skylar Astin" just made the top of my favorite summertime jams list! Swoop this one on iTunes HERE!

SNBRN - SOMETIMES FT. HOLLY WINTER

Music, RemixErin MaherComment

SNBRN is showing us a darker side of this endless talent with this new one, and I'm loving it. This Los Angeles producer drops nothing but fire, and even though this is a new direction it still has them SNBRN summertime anthem feels that we all know so well! "Sometimes ft. Holly Winter" is more of a poolside jam than a club banger, and it will be the perfect vibe for your holiday weekend hangs! Swoop it from iTunes HERE!

MANILA KILLA - YOUTH (FEAT. SATICA)

Music, Original MixEricComment

Ahh so much music to get to today! If you've ever been on BB before (if you're new then hello! welcome, we're glad you're here) then you know Manila Killa and Moving Castle. I could sing praises about his consistently beautiful, melodic and well produced music, but lets focus on "Youth (feat. Satica)." Swirling pads, and background vox effects accompany melodic synth plucks and soaring saws all underneath Satica's mellifluous vocals. "Youth" is just an ear pleaser, and it's relaxing the hell out of my afternoon. You can nab this on iTunes here.

Disclosure: Manila Killa is promoted by Beautiful Buzzz writers Alli Lindsey + Lindsey Oh

PEGBOARD NERDS & NGHTMRE - SUPERSTAR (FEAT. KREWELLA)

Original Mix, MusicEricComment

Holy mother of collabs, this is a big one from three heavy hitters. The Pegboard Nerds have continued their heat streak crankin' out tunes just about every month. This time they've split duties with NGHTMRE who has been on a meteoric rise over the last year finally hitting record heights with collabs like this and with Dillon Francis in "Need You." The cherry on top is the return to form of Krewella who have lent their lovely vocals to this record cementing the magnificent enormity of the tune. Energetic, positive and spicy af "Superstar" lives up to it's name ready to pound dance floors this summer. You can also listen on Spotify here.

EMBRZ - BREATHE

Music, Original MixEricComment

Ireland's Jack Casey pka EMBRZ has delivered a fantastic and sentimental record with "Breathe." Chilling and emotional, the synth leads meander us through this musical journey beneath haunting lyrics that have really left me breathless. You can nab this tune on digital retailers here.

KRAAK & SMAAK - TOXIC LOVE AFFAIR (FEAT. IVAR & SANGUITA)

Music, Original MixEricComment

We've been wayy overdue to post a track from funk house mavens Kraak & Smaak, and with their looming Juicy Fruit LP on the way June 10th it's time we got around to supporting. I could have chosen any of the few songs they've released in anticipation of the LP, but I really love the vibes of "Toxic Love Affair (feat. Ivar & Sanguita)." The funky guitar and synth combine with groovy bass and the mesmerizing soulful vocals giving us a splendid gold plated tune that's evoking all sorts of feels right now. Very very excited for this LP you should definitely check out "I Don't Know Why (feat. Mayer Hawthorne)" and "Stumble (feat. Parcels)" as well.

BAD WAVE - EXTRAORDINARY

Music, Original MixEricComment

I'm having a really good morning, which means its time for some energetic electronic pop courtesy of Bad Wave! "Extraordinary" is a bumpin fun tune that catches you right from the second you hit play. By the chorus you're already pumped so full of earworms that the rest of the song breezes you by like the ocean spray. The singer Tucker's vocals remind me of Two Door Cinema Club's Alex Trimble, or even Ben Gibbard in the best of ways. You can't go wrong with such an "Extraordinary" tune from this duo!

FELIX JAEHN VS. HITIMPULSE - CUT THE CORD

Music, Original MixErin MaherComment

I feel like I want to make this post about how dreamy Felix Jaehn is ... I'm not bashful about loving the part of my job that has me surrounded by attractive talented men. I swoon all the time over all the dreaminess - and how cute is Felix! This is the point where management starts to laugh at me and haters start to tell me I'm a shit journalist, so I'll try to stay focused on the music, because this new track "Cut The Cord" definitely deserves your attention. This German producer has been called tropical house, but with this new one I think he crosses the line into more of a future pop sound with more glitchy beats and silky vocals from Hitimpulse. Go on ... you can swoon now.
