This Bay Area producer calls his style "video game bangers" which I think is brilliant, and he puts his cherry future bass sounds all over "Thief" by Ookay that's full of glitchy beats and lush melodies -- nailed it! I have some pretty great relationships with a number of artists agents I work with - and once in a while they introduce me to something v cool that was not yet on my radar. Dena Amy's US agent did just that a few months back - and usually when he tells me to check something out I will - he has impeccable taste. Now I am kinda girl crushing over this Australian actress and DJ, and even booked her for one of my San Francisco pool parties next month on her summer US tour! "Wait For You" is her first original single - and her vocals are so dreamy I can't even -- she was featured on the latest Rufus album and played the Coachella DoLab stage this year. so Dena Amy is off to a good start! Her DJ set's are fire, and I've got two of them coming your way bi-coastal style, so if you are in SF or NY come on out!

I used to take offence when people talked smack about LA - that's my home town and it raised me right! But now, after living in NorCal for the past few years I can sometimes see the silliness that is LA, and it's still brilliant in my eyes! If you happen to be part of the Hollywood cool kid scene in 2016 you know all about Space Yacht - a weekly free dance party featuring some of the most fire up-and-coming electronic music artists (many whom we feature on BB) mixed in with young industry, high-profile surprise guests and pizza. It's so very LA! I will probably always put up all things K?d ..... he's pretty much my favorite thing from the last 12 months. We've tried to be a platform of growth for this young producer, taking him into our hearts and rising him up in the hopes that people will listen ... even if we can reach one new person today - that's an achievement within itself considering the volume of music that's released on a daily basis. This new K?d remix of "Elevated" by RKCB is a wall of sweet sound with big future beats and super soulful vocals. This one can definitely fit into that "epic" category! Finally! Our Canadian boyfriends Love Thy Brother just released their first original and it's huge!
